Trekking to San Diego and winding up in TJ for the annual Tequila Fest next week. I've dabbled in the TJ craft beer scene but there's at least about a dozen breweries/tasting rooms in the downtown Tijuana area so if anyone has any tasting experiences they can share, I'd appreciate it.
Strip clubs, moi? Seriously, want to know if places like Norte Brewing or Border Psycho, both near Revolucion, are worth checking out. Was at the Teorema/Ludica tasting room on Revo last year and it wasn't bad (head brewer worked at Green Flash during the week) - better than half the breweries on La Palma in Anaheim, tho that isn't saying much.
Have fun drinking piss beer, none of the shit down there is worth it. You want real beer, drink here, not south of the border. only place i suggest is insurgente for their version of xocoveza but you should probably know that otherwise enjoy negro modelo
when is the last time you were in mexico? the state of baja has over 100 breweries now, I'm not buying the notion that they all make exclusively 'piss beer'
