Now, for who to thank for this awesome box? Box looks and says it is from @CanConPhilly, but Matt swears it wasn't him. Unless he blacked out in NYC and started firing boxes all over (definitely possible), then I owe someone else a thank you. What say you @thisischuck01 ??

I was about to say no sign of the missing can but then I went back in the kitchen and found it mixed with the dishes in the drying rack. It was covered in stout and I washed it off, then totally forgot it when I took the pic. So, bonus beer!

I cracked the mystery beer, about half was left in the can. Ton of gas released from the empty space, sounded gnarly. Beer was flat but I tasted anyway. No coffee in evidence, but a touch of heat and some rich, earthy pepper flavor. I guessed it was a pepper stout, most likely jalapeno but possibly poblano.



Removing the foil reveals Lunch Lady Doone Jalapeno version from IBU brewery in Syracuse. A shame it was damaged because it seems pretty interesting and I always enjoy spicy beers! Thanks Brian!

 

Target A’s state has great fun facts, so let’s do another. It was one of two states that did NOT ratify the 18th amendment. God bless em.

target Bs state does not have so many fun facts. But they have great breweries, including several with amazing barrel aging programs.

 

If you think those boxes are overpacked and bursting at the seams, you are correct. If you think I’m nervous about sending them in light of recent pictures posted in this thread, you are also correct. If you think there are one too many boxes in this picture, you are incorrect. The recipient of the third box already knows who he is, and I hope he has cleared some space in his fridge.

Super excited to try these, I wasn’t even aware or Mornin’ Latte’s existence until this thread and this will be my second New Glarus so he ticked that want for me.

Honestly I’m not really familiar at all with Oliphant or Pantown so it’ll be cool to see what they’re all about too! Am I reading correctly that the Oliphant is 25.4 ounces? I’ve never seen that size before lol.

Also this sweet glass. I don’t have one in this shape yet and had actually been eyeing them lately!

Still in because, well, I'm pretty sure both of us have neither.

 

Biggest thing I'm going to be on the lookout for if I have girls is not being a controlling father. All of the craziest girls I've met have had over protective dads so when they got out from under that they went wild.

 

Not sure about FedEx and UPS, but USPS Informed Delivery is something you just sign up for online and they send a daily email about what to expect that day (including scanned pictures of all standard sized letters) and you can go to the website and see every label made and headed your way

 

I should be able to make this work as well depending on the time.
