Trade Value Thread (2019)

Just one persons opinion but 19 is on par with the rest of the vintages. Splitting hairs imho. Maybe bottle count and rarity play a part in the decreased value. I think most rare bottles have dropped in "value" besides Uber whalez (ie BBT, TWCP Maman, etc)

 

For another data point, I enjoyed El Duende significantly more than last two years of BAA, and it's about a third of the value. BAA is probably one of the most disappointing "hyped" beers for me, but it's all up personal tastes at the end of the day.

 

Was pleasantly surprised by El Duende... quite a nice interpretation of Horchata. I personally found BAA to be too overwhelming of cinnamon. Moreso than non ba Abraxas

 

Speaking of el duende and “Mexican stouts” I hope BL bottle Leche reserva one day, if you like OG hunahpu imo I feel like it was very very close although some did not like the tequila barrel.

 

Man og Leche was really a great beer.

 

Never had BAA, but I thought El Duende's Cinnamon (and I love that stuff) was overpowering from draft & bottle pours. Not that it's bad, but wasn't home run interpretation of Horchata imo.

I've enjoyed regular Abraxas the last few years, but not the BA version. BAA has even more cinnamon than El duende? WOWZERS

 

Much more in my experience. And also I found Roll For Initiative to be more cinnamon forward, entering Red Hots territory. Could be bottle variation though.

 

I had El Duende on tap at DLD this year and I thought it was an awful, Red Hots mess. I'm still sad I got it over VSOJ which was also available On the flip side, I think BAA is one of the best beers I've had with way better cinnamon integration. So, another pointless data point?

 

Would the latest Mornin Delight pull a Flora B8?

 

I think it could close 1:1, but suspect need a small plus on the MD side.

I traded a Md b6 + nectarine cuvee for Flora B8 + BA WiE. This was with a trade partner I have traded with multiple times.

 

Thought I was spot on with my evaluations, but as the trade has not completed yet I must be off. What do I need to add to an Assassin '19 to land a Blanton's SFTB?

 

Did you post this in the STL trade forum, or just here? This should be a close. One closed back in May For either a Maman or BAA. However, in July sftb had an uptick and a trade closed for BAFV + BAA 19.

 

Weird situation. I would absolutely post it there except I'm trying to gift this bottle to my brother for his birthday and he's also in the STL group. Trying to keep it a surprise, but might just have to bite the bullet and forgo the surprise aspect. Thanks!

How close is that for: Millerzzzz, Assassin, BAA, Chemtrailmix, Handjee or BA Adjunct Trail?

I know these ISOs vary in value but I haven't kept up with the trading market much recently so just trying to gauge. If any are close but need a strong plus I have lots of Casey I could add.

 

My opinion is you should be able to close with the first 3 on the list and potentially the Chemtrailmix. The last two may be tough still. I will admit, however, I don't know a ton about the Here be Monsters.

 

Where is Shared morning vibes and ambiente trading at?

Would 8th state Aphelion, AC coffee igccs crowler, Prairie Pirate paradise close the pair?
