SAVAGES (v2) Hints/Hauls

I have had some experience with this. There are a bunch of different outcomes possible. Lost box, something leaked and they can't read the address anymore, box just got misplaced, box smells like beer and no one wants to deal with it.

I have had a box missing for a week and then be delivered, and I have had 2 just go completely missing. The good thing about usps is they don't care much about shipping beer and if they can't find it, you can start a claim and get 50 bucks.

Hint #1: Heavy hitter that lives to my East.
Hint #2: I have never sent you beer. This should narrow it down a bunch.
Hint #3: I have 5 of your wants in my fridge right now. 2 were already destined for another home, so 3 will be hitting your porch. 2 of those were added in the last 6 months.
Hint #4: We share a dislike for pumpkin beers.
Hint #5: Have one more bottle arriving Monday via mule and waiting on some fresh stuff from one of my 2 favorite breweries, box should arrive late next week.
Hint #6: We have never been in the same BIF (that should narrow it way down)
Hint #7 I like just about every style of beer, you seem to fall along the same lines.
Hint #8: You live in a state that produces it's fair share of whales.
Hint #9: Correctly guessed one of my senders. It's funny because the 2 boxes I dropped off for you are going to the same state he lives in. Check the mail tomorrow!

Hint #10: You might even call the beers from your state Orca level! Out for delivery.

Hint #4: Hint #3 makes me so happy!
Hint #5: We have not shook hands yet. This should make @Vidblain, @Dragginballs76 and @FlintB feel a little better. You guys were the other options for this target.
Hint #6: Will be including the newest releases from 2 well known west coast breweries.
Hint #7: I have sent you beer before and you have sent me beer before.
Hint #8: Target 1 has been dealt with, now you have my full attention. If my eventbrite skills are up to the task, I should be picking up your last bottle in mid-October. Boxes will fly right before the deadline.

Hint #9: We specifically have been in the same round of NBS together at least 1 time.

@SouthernSips , In Minnesota, breweries can sell directly from the taphouse, but they are limited in format. The 750 ml (25.4oz) is the smallest can they can sell direct. They can also sell 64oz growlers.

I have had two boxes lost by UPS and got no reimbursement because I did not have receipts and other documentation they wanted. One box never even made it out of the UPS store where I dropped it off.

Had two boxes lost by FedEx. They reimbursed me for both without much of a hassle.

Of the two, guess which service I use now? A few months ago UPS called me inquiring why I have not shipped with them in a few years. I probably shipped over 50 times with them. I told the guy my story (minus the beer part). I thought he would offer me an incentive or at least reimburse me for the two lost boxes. But he didn’t.

 

Congrats! Life cannot get any better.

 

Days like today really make me despise working evening shift, I hear the mailvan stop in front of the house and the engine shut off which typically means one thing...beer mail has arrived! Now I really don't want to work today!
@Joplamp hit me with this box of goodness. Huge want in the Mexican Brunch, the Chile stouts have been tasting great for me lately so super excited for this one.
The BCBS Vanilla has been on my radar for awhile, and looking the orange was a want as well. Those over 14% aren't in distro here so glad to get them, I can go in a liqour store and buy Everclear but a 14+% beer.
The cans are right up my alley and new brewery ticks as well.
Side note, the Reese's made this the first box of beer **** that got my wife excited!
