    Shipping would be cool, proxies...nope.

Yeah I don't understand the shipping preference over proxies either? I thought the intent of not offering either option was to cater to locals which, neither helps.

I am super glad to hear there's light at the end of tunnel for the expansion! Definitely hope that increasing WoL allotment is pursued which, is more what I was hoping for in terms of a "membership". Everything else in a membership is just icing on the cake.

They could do that with shipping. Someone's friend or a stranger way up north could buy it, ship it, then ship it again. Half the "locals" that buy now don't even drink it themselves.

Agreed, shipping/proxies will not help the locals. Maybe do a sale with IP pickups, if anything is left give the option for shipping/proxies.

I wouldn't mind shipping because they are probably limited in the regions they could ship to. Proxies would likely open it up enough to the point of sales becoming a pain in the butt again.

Proxies give people who are currently paying stupid secondary prices a better shot at drinking beer they actually want to drink by cutting out the middle man who's dedicated to profiting off moving beer. You don't want that to happen because it'll be harder for you to get more bottles, even though you likely have decent access between the brewery and the shops that see distro.

Why shouldn't more people be allowed access to beer they want to try? Because someone will have to F5 faster during public sale?

If WoL limits can be increased for locals and those in CA who would travel to WoL and then take advantage of shipping, then I really don't see a valid reason proxies should not be allowed for public sale tickets.

A full allotment is the presale bonus bottle plus the max allowed for public sale. This would just mean for example you'd be guaranteed 4 bottles of Reaction State before public sale Sunday instead of just 1 and hope you get 3 more. (I think the limit is 3pp?)

For a lot of the BL traders perceived rarity is all that matters. It was fun when the various BL bottles started to sit on shelves, and a bunch of people ran to the FB groups trying to argue how it wasn't true. If they allow shipping and proxies, then even more people who would love to drink and enjoy BL (and likely only want 1-2 bottles!) can get access - not just people concerned about how much they can make off secondary and/or trade for Florida's version of the same sugar-water.

While BL seems plentiful, there are still enough sales that go quickly that opening things up wouldn't be great, even for those that intend on drinking the beer.

Also you guys must not have any actual exposure to secondary. BL isn't really worth a damn anymore. People not wanting sales to be difficult doesn't mean they are flipping bottles.

Did Reaction State always have cinnamon whiskey barrels, or is that new in b2?

I don't recall cinammon in b1 but it's use in b2 makes me more unlikely to buy it.

Cinnamon whiskey barrels sounds like fireball lol. Untappd says b1 was finished with cinnamon.

Pretty sure I clearly stated "when" bottles started sitting around is when all the paranoid traders rushed to their favorite FB groups to make sure prices didn't fall. I think we all know it wasn't like that since Day 1, but thanks.

Also "wouldn't be great" is pretty subjective when there are countless people out there that would love to try some BL rather than it rotting at the local BevMo or on the shelf of your favorite craft beer store.

The point is people aren't buying them to flip on secondary because they aren't worth anything on secondary. All I'm saying is that people not wanting sales to become more difficult doesn't mean they are some profiteer like you seemed to imply.

They could just as easily expand their distro if their goal is to not have it sit on stores in local markets.

Why expand distro when you can ship direct?
