They aslo added bottles of Felisa, the barrel aged mixed ferm they released 2 weeks ago for sale..

Definitely worth it. There hasn't been enough talk about this beer. Not that I'm surprised it was good, but I was surprised at the level of complexity. The red wine character was more present than the pale color would imply, throwing a lot of jammy notes on the palate along with lemon meringue, vanilla, and lacto-ferment "berry" characteristics. Just a little bit of funk as an undercurrent. Great beer.

I would assume so. As much as I like that beer too, I had to pass given I also came home from Vermont that weekend with one of the most epic beer hauls ever.

    Email just dropped:

Pull dem hoodies out people time to fully embrace that fall action. We officially started some construct for our upgrades this fall with the cutting of another trench drain in the brewhouse so we appreciate your patience from here on if there are any affects that spill into the taproom. We also have a lot of sweet events coming up this fall that we are part of so be on the lookout for details in the next newsletter and on social media. We are starting the weekend off with two new batches with a third one on Saturday.

First off we got a new Brunch Porter called "Killer Nibbles" that is crushable all day long at 5% ABV. Next thing you know Killer's GOOD! He is DAMN good! This is the doggone alpha pup of porters, designed to kill yo! The raw interface of oats and wheats, deepened, expanding and growing with medium crystal malts, chocolate malts, and some de-husked roasted accents then conditioned on Ugandan vanilla beans. Smooth bodied w/ notes of half baked chocolate cake, caramel & honey, vanilla frosting, smoky roasted almonds and coffee.

Second up is a new variant of our Saison series "Set the Vector" this time around coming in at 7.6% ABV with fresh hop anti-parallel vectors. Endlessly turning inward everything is synchronized in chaos, always ready to mirror. American pale malt, chit, oats, barley flakes, red rice, rye and wheats. The vibration from three Saison strains and wild type saccharomyces converge with wild glands of wet hop magic from Idaho 7 hops. Picked off the vine and shipped overnight across the country from our sticky-fingered friends at Crosby Farms in Woodburn Oregon. A funky cornucopia. Notes reminiscent of a walk through a hop field, garden woods, spice, earth, lupulin vines, dewey…eewey…it’s wild up in here.

Finally on Saturday we have our first Lactose Pale Ale up from the cypher called "The Synclavier" coming in at 5.6% ABV. We’re making tastescapes through texture with juicy J quality. Nelson Sauvin, Citra and Simcoe hops loop, groove and grab ya’. Pale malts, raw & crystal oats, white wheat, milk sugar and honey in the whirlpool are the bridges to the dynamic. This is the New England Digital folks, free expression of love in all things hoppy to get the push and pull of gritty rhythm to the streets. Notes of fruit salad in a cantaloupe bowl, tart orange and sweet tangerine.

Also, we still have bottles of our barrel-aged sour "Felisa" available to go at $14 and for onsite pours at $18.

Not sure if anyone still has any Clouds cans, but they're really drinking nice now. mellowed a bit, which has let the tropical and citrus notes shine, as well as some sweetness.

I sill have three... good to hear. Their cans hold up incredibly well and tend to improve 2-3 weeks out I have found... I just had my last can of The Swarm on Friday, and it may have been the best one!

Stopped by on Saturday, was not as busy as I hoped it would be. Grabbed a bottle for the next time I share with some friends.

We split taster's of most of the beers that were available. The 3 stand-outs to me were Set the Vector, Synclavier, and Citra/Mosiac: Nosh. They all were very good and I would easily drink a few of them. The Kolsh I really did not enjoy at all and Killer Nibbles was light as described however I did not get much vanilla taste. This is my 3rd or 4th time there and I enjoy the outside area however would recommend maybe some plants or trees just to dress it up, but again I realize it will be closing down very soon.

Also as with every other time there the line for pours really backs up, have they ever done something about this or is this just an expectation at this point?

Agree, the outside space is a great addition, but needs some curb appeal - proper tables and chairs at least... I know they got approval for and plan to put a fire pit, and talked about getting a pergola, but they seem to operate at their own pace.. I'm sure it will come together more come spring.

The pour line really ebbs and flows... it can be dead one second then a bunch of people show up with growlers, etc. With only the one set of taps I'm not sure how they can improve though. But growlers and flights definitely slow the works....

maybe a line for pours only. The tough part is who then gets priority when someone wants a growler or flight with a beer someone wants a pour for. Still will be a line somewhere for something

Any "only" line is going to cause as many problems as it may solve. I have never gotten a growler filled without also getting a pint what line do I go on . I don't want to have to get on 2 lines.

For me the “only” line would be for pours only. You could still get pours if your in growler or flight lines. But, like you said there’s still going to be a line somewhere and wouldn’t solve much. I was just spitballing.

Idk what would solve lines besides another set of tap lines
