The backyard at night with a firepit and tiki torches. I miss this due to the wet spring and summer with those _______ mosquitos and their ________EEE.

The garage is an acceptable 2nd choice with loud music and beer.

Anything goes: Kloster Andechs. I love all of the beers, the food, the atmosphere, and just about everything about it. Rain or shine, I'm not sure there is anywhere I'd rather spend time with a beer...or 4.

Locally: Bull & Bush. For most of the same reasons I love Andechs. I'd probably live there if I didn't have to drive to reach it.

There's no city/area I'd take over my home NYC for beer, or anything else I care about for that matter. The breweries here are great, the bars are world class, and you can get between all of them without having to get behind the wheel of a car and risk killing yourself.

In terms of specific venues, Harlem Hops is easily my most frequented craft bar. Great tap list and a really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Worth stopping by for anybody spending any period of time in NYC.

In the comfort of my own home, yes, definitely. At least when I lived in Cambridge. CBC was always a great place to sit on the patio with my dog as well.

I was going to say something like Hill Farmstead or Waterbury, and while I thoroughly love visiting those places, the actual answer is Portland, Maine. Why? My favorite beer experiences have been at Oxbow. I have had plenty of favorite food experiences up there. It is beautiful, it is walkable. I love Portland, Maine. That's my happy place.

I personally enjoy planting my ass on the sand at the beach. My wonderful local police down with it to, so you'll find me there 3 or 4 afternoons a week.

Great beers, but...... they’re a bit pricy on their Crowlers.

I have to say it's a tie between Big Mikes back porch or the hunting cabin in Waverly NY.

Got together with three life long friends for the Packers Thursday night game in Green Bay a couple weeks ago.. I’ve know these guys for over 45 years and hook up several times a year.
It seemed no matter which beer we were drink or where we were drinking, that beer and bar became my beer happy place.
That’s my latest beer happy place. Looking forward to the next.

Mine is knowing an area for 50+ years, where I grew up, and understanding that the area has been friendly to Red Oak and Natty Greene's early on. These guys have been cranking from the early nineties and early oos and changed our beer culture forever. All of this moves on to many more beers, breweries, everywhere nearby. I will never complain.
But still, my favorite place is the crest of Elk Ridge Mountain above Valle Crusis where we go as a family and make blueberry pie from the fresh fruit. Along with Cascade Blueberry Ale.

Any wilderness location, or the garage while doing gear maintenance. I must admit, I've found few places where I enjoy a fine brew more than the summit of a non-technical mountain. Soak in great views while imbibing some delicious craft brews (cans and crowlers are my friends).

I have two nice homes, both with lovely settings, one of which has a stoop overlooking the Sandringham Estate. Yet 9 times out of 10 if I want a beer I visit a pub.
A pub is so much more than just the beer even though the beer is from cask.I just don't want to sit at home drinking bottled beer.

The toilet, after work. No, for real. It's like decompression time or something. Shower is also a good one for me.
