    Starting the day getting juiced...

Beautiful soft yellow colored body, gently opaque; huge sculpted head, dense and rocky. Aromas of fresh mango, guava, orange. Balanced and alluring flavors of powdered sugar sweetness; subtle citrus notes; white grapefruit and pineapple; tartness cut with mild alcohol; some hop bitterness. Medium body; coat; s the palate with a slushy coarseness; warm and juicy; acidic; fine medley of dryness and juiciness.

The beer nails its juicy promo, from killer looks to enticing smell and onward with layered treats of tropical fruits.

Good day BAs! Starting this cool morning off with a TX beer from the national brewery of Texas:

Pineapple is present, coconut not so much.

[IMG] Yesterday afternoon was pretty wild. To see your 7 year Old deal with this kind of fracture only cry when it first happened. Pretty impressed with her tolerance to pain. A few pictures from what will be known as the cartwheel at recess incident in 2nd grade.[IMG] [IMG] Thanks for getting me a day off D-Cat. Cheers all and this beer pus the D in Dank!

Yes, I'll have another one, please. Thank you.
Agree with most reviews that this doesn't match NEIPA style; however, still mighty tasty!

No particular reason for this morning's choice other than it was cold.

Flavor is full on malt with depth and richness. This is full flavored and it's good flavor. I get little hop presence on entry, mid palate, or in the finish which is clean and short. Hops are there but too shy to give more than a glimpse of their presence. There is a residual darker malt sweetness (molasses?) in the aftertaste that doesn't linger very long.

65 degrees is cold around here but I was referring to the beer. I keep meaning to one day actually check the temp of my fridge beers but by the time I remember to do it the glass is empty.

I have the same challenge in my house with the beer frig. Depending on what styles I have in there the temp could range from 37-48 degrees

    Radius and ulna. Wow!
She must be a tough kid!
My daughter did the same thing at her 6th birthday party. She insisted the party continue, so I splinted her arm, she enjoyed her sleepover party, and I took her to the ER the next morning.

Bought a few new to me Swedish craft lager beers and this is the first one. Pilsner 47 from Göteborgs Nya Bryggeri. 4.7% abv. The color is amber colored, I was expecting a paler color since they compare it to a south German pilsner. This looks like a Czech lager, not a German pilsner. The aroma is clean with some herbal hops and bready malt. The flavor is dry yet bready with a relatively strong hop bitterness. The malt flavor tastes like its coming from Munich malt which would help explain the color. There is also an herbal hoppiness, they taste like classical German hops, and the brewery notes that they are in fact using German hops. The body is on the lighter side, it is quite dry, and it is very clean tasting. I quite like it, and I think it's a well made Swedish craft lager of the dry, crisp and hoppy variety.
