Yeah, this was a major bummer for us, but what can you do. Missed Pallbearer (I assume they played?) because traffic was brutal the whole way up. What usually is a 2.5 hour drive for me with standard traffic took almost 4 hours. We walked in by the stage at about 7:05, got banded, and literally they announced that they had to shut the music down due to lightning.

Very true. After the music got shut down we went straight to the BA tent. I was really happy to see Cuvee and La Petit still flowing. Bonus to try 15 Bean Gene too. Cuvee is still tasting incredible. We hung out for several beers under the tent. Went to Dmen and crushed some chicken shawarma. Then hit up Beer Temple. Made the best of the night as we could.

Hope the weather is holding up for Rev today. It's freaking 85 and sunny down here today.

Glad I postponed my trip to ORD. I ended up at the other R Brewery, Revision In Va-Da.

Stopped into Rev to grab some Coffee Eugene cans and try Farm to Fist. I’m sure this will anger plenty, but I’m extremely disappointed to find out that this batch of F2F is hazy. Last year’s batch was so good. This is very meh.

Coffee Eugene is excellent as usual though.

There was unfortunately not as much interest last year as I had hoped, so it had to be taken down in size which meant brewing it on the Brewpub system. I appreciate the feedback and will pass it on.

On a more exciting note, we're about to drop the variant list for next Friday/Saturday's release and I think you're going to be pretty jazzed.

That makes sense, and I'm totally in favor of the experiment (it was the first time I've ever had a wet hopped NEIPA). I just wish it would have been able to have been done in addition to the regular version. But I understand the logistics. I'm just a huge fan of traditional (or I should say more west coast style) wet hop IPAs/pales, so it just caught me off guard.

1- Was the F2F good or just not what you were expecting it to be?
2- It looks like it came out a few weeks ago, has it fallen off? If not, is it still available? Sounds good.

I really liked the maple one off last year (forget what it was called) and look forward to this year's as well. Hopefully next year we'll get some in cans next year. (Deth by Maple, Mapled to Deth, or Maple Deth)

Am I the only one that got an email about reserving cans for next week in advance?

    Have I been punked?

Not sure if this was a question for me or not. My initial comment was based off the fact that I was caught off guard, and not expecting it to be hazy. I thought it was fine, but not anything I'd seek out (Rev's NEIPAs don't do anything for me though, so don't take my advice on it). I had it the week it came out, so it definitely hadn't "fallen off." Looks like it is still available at both locations.
