It has, but I'm fairly certain there was a second batch between now and when it came out last fall. Or maybe they just pulled the bottles from the to go area for a while.

Last had BA Behemoth a few years ago, is it worth picking up this year's batch?

I loved BA Behemoth when I had it years ago but $30 for a bomber is a lot and I don't often want to drink 750ml of BA barleywine.

I mean.... it depends on what you mean by "often." Not every day, I guess.

Anyway, I thought the 2017 BA Behemoth was more than $30, but I may not be remembering correctly. My recollection is that it was ugly as sin, but tasted awesome.

I am biased because I love the base beer and barleywines in general. That said, I have purchased at least two bottles to this point.

Just my luck, I waited one day too long to get my favorite beer of the year...Broo Doo. Only lasted four or so days at the Brewpub. If anyone sees it in the NW suburbs, I would appreciate the heads up.

    Speaking of Pillar of Beasts...

Anyone drink one recently? Heard it was hot as shit, so I've been sitting on mine since last year.

It usually gets pretty good distro, so I wouldn't worry yet.

I just want to say that Munsterfest and Moloko is 6-packs is bananas cool. Everyone else can chase trucks and pastry stouts. I’ll be drinking these all fall (and hopefully Munsterfest will be on sale come November, when all the liquor stores have their Oktoberfest clear out)

Plenty of Broo Doo at Binnys. Just picked up a 6pk in Algonquin.

Also plenty of Born Yesterday at the same Binnys

As a rule, I think a lot BA’s neglect much of fff ‘s seasonal line up.

On a not related note, I would love to see Rye’da Tiger return.

I forgot all about Rye’da. That was an excellent beer.

Had some Broo Doo and always forget how good it is. Had it right before a Founders Harvest and would drink the Broo Doo 10/10 times over Harvest Ale.

Agreed, I did them once back to back (blindly) and there is no comparison. Broo Doo is amazing.

Had one back when it first released. Was too sweet for my liking, didn't find it hot at all.

I really enjoy both for different reasons. But I love the fact that Broo Doo is now in 6 packs at the cost of what 2 bombers used to be.
