Was definitely super surprised this year. Very clean and crisp. Little sweetness. I wouldn’t be mad if they renamed it and put it in the year round 2020 lineup.

G'Suffa is fantastic this year, I think the changes were well done. But that being said, I also really liked it last year and such too. But the tweaks do improve it even further for sure.

Good to know. Thanks! Didn't know they changed the recipe. I might have to pick up a pack now.

I just had one at the Canton location yesterday. Still has the same appearance, and the aroma is fairly muted, but it tastes much better to me. Nice finish. A lot drier with some lingering toasted flavor. Very good.

What’s everyone think of Hop Stalker this year?

I can’t get enough - 3 crowlers down and got to make another run soon. So much dankness!!

Phenomenal. Perfect beer. My only complaint is that it’s not in bottles.

Anyone know what’s going on with Starlight? All the shelves are drying up (and most of what I can find is still from April), and there was none available at the brewery last time I was there. Including draft. Just checked, and it’s not on at any location. Still listed as year round on their website.

Similar situation when GLBC rolled out Turntable Pils for a year-round. Back when I worked there we would usually bottle a small run maybe once a month at most. Places just aren’t buying it ‘cause it’s not moving. Might be a similar situation with Starlight

According to the guy I talked to at the brewery, it's technically not year-round.

That always drives me nuts. Heinen's fills a growler for the price of a crowler at Fat Head's. I guess they have to pay for that monstrosity somehow

I mean you go to Whole Foods and you can get a growler of Dark Apparition for around $16-$17 bucks. Major businesses like that don’t really need that huge of a margin for sales like that. Which is why I only get growler fills there

This is going to be great in January!!!

    From Fat Head’s FB:

We could not think of a more appropriate day to announce our 2020 Special Hoperations collaboration than today, Veteran's Day. We are delighted to announce that this year's collaboration is with 3 Floyds Brewing.

Head Brewmaster, Matt Cole, says, "We're super stoked to be back collaborating with 3 Floyd's. We both like to push the boundaries with big bold flavors and the extreme use of hops!"

Stay tuned to our social media platforms to follow along as we begin this collaboration beer, and look for Special Hoperations in stores and restaurants in early January. A portion of sales of Special Hoperations is donated to Honor Flight Network, a non-profit organization that transports US Military vets to see the memorials of the respective war/s they fought.

We want to thank all of those who have served, and are currently serving. Happy Veteran’s Day!

In sad news... At the brewery today, no Starlight cans to be found. Merch on sale. Was told that Starlight is done and will no longer be brewed. I hope they meant just won’t be canned, but supposedly it’s completely done?

Quite a bummer… But on the bright side, a replacement of some sort is incoming I guess. I hope it’s still a Helles or like-style. That beer was stocked in my fridge all year!

I guess we may see when/if the release calendar rolls out soon.

That's no good. My favorite go-to lager this past year...by far.
