Sold out if you weren't in line by 5am with a wristband.

 

Word on the street is that they don't have the sub station which is a huge shame cause Wegmans has amazing subs.

 

any one try emerald glow yet, I grabbed a 4 while I was at OH yesterday but didn't open it yet. I was going to get Citra Daydream but it sold out as I walked up. Although @rozzom saying it was sweeter than normal makes me kind of glad I missed it

 

i found the double citra daydream not necessarily any sweeter than normal, but maybe the same sweetness lacking a bite it had in the past. i still enjoyed it, but all the while imagining @rozzom telling me I'm wrong.

 

haha I’d never do that. maybe it was just because I was bitter (no pun intended) when I went to reup yesterday and it had sold out. I went for the hbo/sv/hotdog one instead. Actually really enjoyed it

 

Cracked Straight From The Barrel yesterday - incredibly good. One of the better barrel-present beers Other Half has made. A little "boozy", and you really get the rum off of it, but I'd say right up there with BA Snowbirds if you like barrel.

 

This is correct and a huge miss by Danny and the rest of the Wegmans family. As a wegmaniac and former Wegmans Sandwich Artist— to say I was a little annoyed by the absence of the sub shop would be an understatement. I have been looking forward to this opening for years now since it is within walking distance to my apartment. Not receiving the sega Saturn on Christmas of ‘94, missing out on the OG street green collab by a few people and now this as the 3 biggest disappointments of my life.

Oh the beer selection is ok. Whole Foods at 3rd and 3rd blows it out of the water.

 

I went to college in Ithaca and my friends and I would always get the buffalo chicken sandwich which was amazing, so this is sad and disappointing, just like life post-college.

 

No idea what Wegmans is but if you’re all sad about the subs then I’m sad.

And if the selection is crushed by WF Gowanus that’s not great either considering it‘s (and WF’s in general) beer selection has gone downhill over recent years.

And worst of all - the Sega story. Damn that’s reopening some old wounds. My boys are only 3 and 1 but sounds like I’ll be doing a 180 on their Xmas presents and getting them a PS4 and an Xbox One X. Not going to be like dad and his second hand Amiga while little Frankie from down the road had all the latest shit. Fuck you little Frankie I only came over to play Sonic.

 

All Riwaka Everything sounds amazing.
