SAVAGES (v2) Hints/Hauls

Yeah, I went to Ellipsis with Gene @FrankenMiller last summer and got to sample a bunch of flavors. So good! Both the sweet and savory options

 

I want, make that need, to go there. That is the most unique popcorn I have ever tasted.

I guessed lager, but Altbier is a German style amber using Ale yeast at lager temperature fermentation.
This beer has such rich flavors with tons of lager-like quantities. I’ve tried brewing an Altbier before but mine never quite get past tasting like an Amber Ale.

I definitely agree with @Snrubnivek here, great boxes all around. I spent my weekend on a CubScout camping trip, no alcohol involved(I did happen to find a couple of beers stashed in the car that I slipped off and slammed while taking a leak.)
Enjoyed this one from @EcoBoost while I was unpacking and airing out some wet camping gear when I got home earlier today.

 

I don’t know if it’s just the fact that there’s actual sunlight in your photo, but that beer looks like a glass of orange juice.

Pours opaque brown, minimal carb that dissipates quickly. Not much aroma, booze and a bit of tinniness is all I can get. It’s real thin, some sweetness maybe caramel and a light smokiness with a warm boozy finish. I don’t think it is sweet enough for a scotch ale. Could be a barley wine or a brown ale. I’m getting the same earthy vibe from new glarus fat squirrel just boozier. No barrel or oak that I can tell. I say brown ale.
Neighbor Dave is over watching the packer game and he gets the same. Thought it was real light on flavor, mostly booze, his guess barley wine.

Life and limb- strong ale, collaboration with Sierra Nevada and Dogfish Head. Ale with maple and birch syrup. Did not get much sweetness from the maple or birch. But that’s probably because the baseline on some of these pastry stouts ( thanks untitled Art and mikephone) is so sweet that I could not ID the maple. This was a fun one. Thanks Dan.
