    Afternoon Sixpoint Resin.

Does anyone else get a yeasty banana-like note in Resin? I didn't before, but the last several six packs I've bought - at varying levels of freshness from three weeks to four months - have imparted that kind of note.

It's not something I remember from Resin, and it doesn't appear in my review. It's not unpleasant, exactly, but it does make me enjoy Resin less than I used to - and it probably won't be a fridge staple any longer.

Anyone else? @JackHorzempa ? (I know you've compared Sixpoint brews between the different facilities, so I wonder if you've experienced anything like this.)

I have not had a Resin beer in quite some time so I have no personal thoughts to share concerning contemporary versions of this beer. One thing I can relate is that Sixpoint beers are now being brewed at the Victory production brewery in Parkesburg, PA since they are 'sister' breweries (i.e., both owned by ABV). Maybe there were decisions made to 'tailor' this beer's production at this new facility? Mikey (@SixpointMikey) might be able to provide some input here.

    Cheers!

P.S. On a related note I purchased a 6-pack of Victory Hip Czech Pilsner earlier today. Go Flyers!

As I’ve stated many times, my favorite IPA. This one is hopped with Mosaic. Delicious, especially after sitting in traffic. Cheers all!

Hope everyone is making it through Monday in fine fashion. A beautiful Fall day here in the Smokies. Starting of with a Sam Adams NEIPA. I have restrained myself from making beer runs lately because the beer fridge needs to be weeded out a little. The last of these for now. Cheers!

As a dog lover, that just made my day. Reminds me of my little Jeter. He's a pain in the ass sometimes, but he's loyal. Cheers!

Three pours so far at the most excellent Beer Temple, a Chicago treasure.

Pictured is Rothaus Pils my first pour today, my first chance for this excellent Pilsner. Coffee Eugene followed, which I have had for several years but not before today via cask. Coffee was more rich than their standard pour, really appreciate trying the cask version. New Dragon’s Reserve BBA Cherry Chocolate Stout followed, really like their standard offering, this was even better.

If you have a chance to visit The Beer Temple next time your in Chicago, it’s well worth the visit. There are so many great beers available, I usually need two separate visits in a week to hit them all before the list changes over.

    Have a great Monday!

    Cheers!!!

Looking at my October beer stats (yes I am a geek that keeps a detailed Excel sheet of all the beers I drink) I see pretty much nothing but Tree House, Nightshift, Aslin, Kane, Three Floyds, Magnify, Lawson's, Toppling Goliath, Lord Hobo, Equilibrium, American Solera, Barrier, Bissell (and a surprising absence of Tired Hands!). That's a pretty insanely awesome lineup of breweries. To all this I'm adding a new brewery that I have never heard of before but I'm curious to sample for the first time. Eight and Sand Beer Company out of Woodbury, NJ makes this NEIPA called LocoMoSim. No idea whether it is meant to be any good or not but when I saw Motueka and Simcoe I was sold. The beer is fruity and lightly bitter but some dank notes that make it very pleasurable.

This is a really good beer. Would you agree, @GreenBayBA? What about you, @beerloserLI? I still remember the first time I had the DDH Sue in a bottle. Life-changing. Cheers!
