Thirded. Last year a small amount of Benthic was available at 2 stores downstate, and was on draft at least at 1 bar I know of.

 

Hmmm maybe I'm thinking the variants were really small quantity.

 

The variants were. I think double barrel was limited to like the first 90 people in line, and double dose was limited to like the first 200. It ended up being a lot less than that because they waxed one of the variants with almost an identical blue color as the regular, so dirtballs took all variants and no regular. The double barrel was an outstanding beer. The double barrel and regular were very good, also, but the double barrel was on its own level.

 

Yeah they even reduced limits about a week or so before the release. Ended up being 3 Benthic, 2 Double Dose Benthic and 1 DB Benthic per person.

 

Can't edit this anymore, but the last sentence should say the "double dose and regular were very good, also, but the double barrel was on its own level."

 

Looks kinda like a spooky Vallejo label.

 

Love the full online option. I'd rather know my fate in a few minutes from warmth than take out a half day and have slightly better odds. If it falls at a bad time for me and I can't even do the online attempt, such is life.

 

I preferred the show up at 9am for the full allotment method. But hopefully/maybe the online sales won’t sell out in 4 seconds and I’ll be persuaded by the change

Honestly though, who knows. We'll see how I feel the night before, since I have the 15th off.

Some friends have already communicated to me that they'll be there around 9-9:30 in case the line for VSOR turns into a shit show.

 

I can't imagine the VSOR line being that crazy. I got to Rev for VSOJ last year around 2pm, and was definitely top 100 in line...probably top 50-75, even.
