Headed to Jacksonville, FL

couple tips:
Beach Buggy is your friend. Free open air electric buggy service all over San Marco (Hampton inn is a destination for buggy since inside San Marco). Download the app. Thank me later. Weather is going to be fall like (finally) this weekend. Buggy will make it easier to get around to Aardwolf, Posting House, Beer:30, Grape and Grain, etc. all places you should stop in at. Plus a ton of restaurants you can get dropped off at w buggy (not cowfords or black sheep since they are not in San Marco). I see San Marco is having its first FL/GA parade Friday 5:30-8 I think in San Marco square. Might be worth checking out. I’d stay away from landing area unless you want to feel like a sardine in a frat house. Have fun!

 

Maple Street Biscuit Company with locations throughout the Jacksonville area is a must for a casual breakfast. The Five and Dime is a classic!!

Went to Southern Swells, if that’s considered JAX (I’m from out of town). Any other NEIPA heavy places?

 

Reve is 5 minutes away from Southern Swells and their beer is very good.

 

Don't miss The Green Room since you are in The Beaches area.

First Love is new brewery in Fernandina Beach (Amelia). Great people. Check it out.

civil doesn’t distribute.

If you want a good collection of to go beer, hit up Beer:30 in San Marco or 9zero Pour off Beach Blvd.

 

Civil definitely distributes. Cans are much harder to find than draft, but there is 1 bottle shop in Orlando getting cases of cans fairly regularly.
