I saw the conversations (and was the one who reported them because they had a lot of personal information in them) and they confirmed @riversideak's account. Obviously the bad trader in question never came here to explain, nor does it look like he ever shipped his part of the trade. At this point, I would imagine the bad trader gets the boot?

The only fault of @riversideak here was to send the beer so quickly and somehow forgetting about reading up on the latest Rules/Do’s and Dont’s for being a trader. It’s forgivable since he hasn’t traded here in a decade.

Also, you have (had) a right to browse and use RB, we are not at war with other beer sites tbh, people use whatever they want as long as they don’t disparage BA elsewhere...

Last but not least this is not looking too good for RLew13 who has done his best to ignore both the OP and the community.

And as such has just been banned from the site.

The conversation made it clear the parties agreed to a trade, exchanged personal information and intended to complete a trade. Given that evidence coupled with the bad trader's failure to either make good or come here and provide a reason, I think its pretty clear this was a bad trader regardless of whether the trade was requested and accepted through the system here. (and regardless, its clear it was negotiated through BA). While that should be done, in this case, I think the evidence supported him being banned. To keep the account on a technicality would be a mistake.

 

Sadly its true ... so many of these issues just creep up again and again.
