There is a bit of wiggle room in the definition of Boomer. Some folks only consider the first post-war wave ('45-'56-ish) as true boomers, while other folks say it was a 20-25 year stretch that would put the group to include the mid-late '60s.

I was born in late '59, and never really felt like a Boomer, we were just behind them and constantly compared to them, but, we were also just older enough to not be in the next generation (pre-Gen Xers).

My folks were born in '39 and '41, so not really part of Greatest Generation, but also contributed to the "Baby Boom". It's all very nebulous and slippery.

It's kinda crazy that our parents are about the same age, but we're 10 years apart and supposedly different generations. Honestly it's just people'e need to label and categorize so they can pretend to understand shit. so let's forget it and just have a beer.

Well, I don't think there is wiggle room. My parents were born in 1911 and 1919. I came along in 1953. I am comfortably in the boomer generation. There is no slippery slope regarding 1956ish.

I agree, just have a beer. I wish we could be sitting in the same comfortable bar, discussing the topics, rather than just reading them. just saying.

Off-topic, but I'm annoyed by cans so overdesigned that I have to hunt for the beer's name, let alone the ABV or other info.

There definitely will be another cycle of popularity after this current trend, but there's almost zero chance that NEIPA take a backseat to something like black lagers. People can complain all they want about how "easy" and "uncomplicated" they are, but that's exactly why their popularity is going to have a dramatically longer shelf life than stuff like "dark Cascadian ales" or extra-bitter west coast IPA. There's only so much money to made on "real beer drinkers," most normal people want something accessible.

NEIPAS won’t go away , they’re user friendly; Period. The problem with most black ales I’ve tried is that they just weren’t very good. If Stone can do it with Sublimely Self Righteous it can be done and that is a tremendous beer. There’s great/ bad beers in every style, same with NEIPAS, same Black Ales.

I guess I should've mentioned this one before--When someone wants to crap on a bar/brewery and they start to describe who it is and won't call them out by name. Say who it is people or don't bother !!

Got a beer box today. My ‘extra’ was a pale ale from Trillium canned 7/11/19. Almost 4 months old. To the traders, please don’t send old pale ales/IPAs.

People tend to only not the dry ones, and nowadays the juicy ones, but it's really the moist ones you want

I'm annoyed by WBADN posts with cans that are just art work with no text added to mention what BEER YOU ARE ACTUALLY DRINKING NOW. WTF you think we all know all can art for all breweries across the world. Seriously, what beer are you drinking now?

How does Save Mart have Brooklyn Lager, but Total Wine and Bevmo don't?

You need to chill the fuck out

What’s the difference between a moist beer, or a juicy beer? Curious, we all get dry as less sweet, and I know you don’t like NEIPAS. Even though BIFd you with more than a few, sorry about that, I didn’t know that then.

I know where 4 full cans of Worlds Fair Beer full cans live, I’m guessing mid 80s beers.
