I got my buddy a 4 pack, he left me a can, maybe I will just give it back lol. Is it Daydream Layers-esque?

I have the Bristol Mountain High last night, at first I wasn't feeling it but when it got a bit warmer I really liked it

Was going to make the trip in today, but this veil release is making me think twice. Any chance it's not a shitshow? Was going to get there right around noon. Thanks

I'm surprised there hasn't been like an Instagram story about The Veil cans, I'm assuming everything is sold out?

They just updated it. Sold out of everything and only $6 tasters. Get the fuck out of here with that shit Veil

Also noticed some total pricing nonsense on the 4pks. Selling some of their beers that sell for $14-$16 per 4pk at their brewery for $20 or more at OH. Then again, from their business perspective it makes sense to align their beers with the OH pricing when they're here, people will happilay pay it.

You have to consider labor and transportation.. 6 hours in transit in a refrigerated truck

You mean what every beer in the world does? They're just on their way up to Maine and decided at the last minute to gouge suckers.

Ya, they voluntarily chose to bring their beer to OH to sell, to be honest seeing as how these were all released 2+ weeks ago they probably needed to get rid of it. And they likely have their own truck, they're not paying a distributor. And they're probably coming up here to collab it up as Papas mentioned above, so it's all just a cash grab!

I agree but it's the market we shop in. It's all a cash grab. The fact that other half and veil expanded and raise prices are a damn shame. Beer should be getting cheaper not more expensive

It's also easier on OH if Veil is charging the same price.

I kept thinking I was just getting bad cans from the Veil, but after like the 6th or 7th one I finally had to accept they aren’t as good as their reputation indicates. Still don’t get how they were the longest line at green city. They weren’t even in the top 10 of IPA brewers imo.

The Hop Showers Index (HSI) drooped 230 points today, taking it to a low not seen since the Triangle Test release, as multiple members were docked points for caring too much about a veil pop up.

for anyone who doesn’t have Bloomberg ^

    Fine. Back to scheduled programming...

Has anyone noticed they will have Mosaic/Motueka and Mylar as part of the Binnys Chicago release this weekend? So while they “sold out” of it before last weekend, they really just didn’t want to give it to us Uber important locals. I mean it’s nonsense we had to choose between 8 other IPAs on Saturday, they clearly hate us.
