It’s truly comical that people are seeking 1:1 for VSOJ.

This seems more like chucking. Or is that a distinction without a difference?

Not seeing much discussion of Straight Jacket. I was pretty underwhelmed with last year's...too thin, without the same body as in previous years. How is the new one?

Any y’all of Unsessionable yet? I’ve been loving the direction of REV IPAs over the last year or so. I think they turned a corner with b2 if DDH Citra hero last year and now with their hazy IPAs, obviously

Dang I chose the Midwinter crowler over the single barrel today.

Based on the description alone, I would have done the same thing...but the single barrel was INCREDIBLE. Wish I would have planned on being near the brewery at Noon today, but c'est la vie...

I know it's different beers, different weather and all but I'm trying to plan my arrival for the next deep woods release. How late could you show up and still get VSOR cans? It's not entirely clear to me reading the comments in the thread.

From reading the thread the other day, it seemed like people who showed up by about 6 got cans. Thought I saw someone who got there around 545 say he was one of the last to get em.

I rolled in about 5:45, saw their update on FB about remaining four packs and eventually decided to leave. I think it was the right decision, I don’t think there was any chance I was getting any VSOR cans.

If someone was doing this I would have video taped it and taken it into someone at Rev to have him removed from line. (1) it's a fire hazard if someone is smoking indoors (2) you can't smoke indoors in a place of business, you can't even smoke within 15 feet of an entrance without getting fined. I guarantee Revolution doesn't want to get fined so they would do something about it immediately. If not, just call the fire department. I guarantee you you won't see someone smoking there ever again after the fire department gets through with their inspection.

I'm a smoker and even I think this is outrageous. I would never smoke in that loading dock crammed full of people. Last release I was at, I would walk out onto the sidewalk. It's just common decency to do that. Should have let some Rev employees know. They should have been kicked out of line.

Or you could just tell him or her to put the cigarette out. But your idea seems so much easier:thinking_face:

And not get to move up one spot in line? I don't think so.

Clearly you should take the less passive-aggressive route, and yell “citizen’s brigade!” before blasting him in the face with a fire extinguisher.*

*do not yell “fire” In a crowd.

There's no need to use a fire extinguisher when one can just throw haymakers.

I totally get that because Midwinter, based upon the descriptions, was the one I was most excited to try. I think port is just not a great combination with the beer, too tannic.

That said, my fiance loved it so you may love it too.
