    Your missing out. Quite refreshing.
    Pretty sure @TheIPAHunter actually uses IPAs as shampoo from time to time.

    Good question. It’s not a cream ale though. Should have poured into a glass, but looks reddish. It has some sweetness/maltiness with that caramel malts quality, but some bittering hops in the end. With the ABV, and the toasted I would guess an amber ale.

    If tasted blind I would have guessed Sabro-hopped. Has a coconut taste to it. Idaho7 is generally not my favorite but I really enjoy how it was used here.

    Rush River‘s Double Bubble Imperial IPA, after a long day* of home “brewing” (wine making at any rate) and meeting up with @Victory_Sabre1973 and @GreenBayBA At BlackStack.

    This one drinks lighter than its 9% ABV, and strikes me as more of a blonde barleywine than a IIPA, as it lacks both the overt and subtle hop aromatics and bitterness that I have come to expect in a “Dub.”

    It’s a tasty enough beer though (and an overlooked brewery), and I have a lot of racking to get through (three hours yesterday, four hours today * — not “long” as such, but I still have to get to my other job today... ) before I get to make a proper New Beer Sunday post. :wink: Cheers!

    Ommegang saison rose.
    Very nice beer,manages to be mildly dry and sweet at the same time. Wide array of mixed flavors with a nice body [​IMG]
