    I've always loved Bell's and buy their beers automatically, if available. This one must have been fairly limited being sold in singles only at my LBS. I really like it and there's a review on NBS if anyone is curious. Cheers all!

    Wow, this is quite a sipper for a saison, still finishing the bottle. Relatively high ABV of 8% on this one, feels even heavier though, somehow. (pic recycled)

    Hy-vee had Octoberfests 3.99 a sixer. Picked up Schells that I am drinking now. Middle of the road. Picked up the last Sierra Nevada, however. My favorite!

    Soft, pale yellow body, marginally cloudy; thick, sculpted white head. Light citrus aroma, orange primarily but some lemon; pineapple; very fragrant. Excellent soft and subdued flavors; lemon bread; light powdered sugar; fine off-setting hop bitterness, quiet but balanced. Medium-light body; crisp and dry overall; gentle acidic nature.

    A beer like this defines what subtlety and balance can do for overall appreciation of the drink. This beer brings tons of character and complexity to the palate but in a quiet and low-key manner. This is no ham fisted offering, bludgeoning you with overpowering flavor and feel. This beer is meant to be savored for its nuance and ultimately satisfying elements.
