Picked up my 6 pack tonight for $11.99, as well as my 4-pack of CBS for 24.99... Quite a big difference in price point per ounce, we shall see which reigns supreme this weekend!

Go buy it. Sipping on some now and it’s astounding. Similar in feel and flavor to BCBS, but an incredible value at 12.99 here.

As of yesterday it's all over NJ but not in SEPA yet. It's so strange how we are often the last ones to get something, you'd think that in such a big market...

Logic overrules patience with me

 

Well, how is the following for logic?

By delaying release in PA this builds up 'anticipation' and the PA beer consumers won't be as upset that the prices are 20% higher than in the neighboring states of New Jersey and Delaware.

Had this one blind alongside CBS and Underground Mountain Brown. This won, with my only comment being a little thin. Friend agreed. Well done.

 

Possible, but not probable. I can't imagine there is a big conspiracy to delay releases because of prices, I see it more of an organizational issue and things are a little mismanaged in our neck of the woods.

 

Where in Ohio did you buy the Lagunitas? I have never seen it and will drive.

 

Okay....but there's no chocolate or maple syrup in Willetized. It's also aged in Rye whiskey barrels. And Underground Mountain Brown is an Imperial Brown Ale, not an Imperial Stout. And it only contains coffee. So, not sure how it's even comparable. Apples-to-oranges...

Yes, I know they are different and it's not 'apples to apples'. I did it simply because, well, it's fun. The girlfriend poured them for us and we were just trying to guess the order in which she served them to us. But then it turned into us rating the beers on various attributes... Mouthfeel, barrel character, adjuncts, etc... Then we picked our preference on how much we enjoyed the beers.

 

I like apples in the Fall and oranges in the Spring.

From experience I know that “the distributor” in VA is mediocre, sounds like you guys have the same problem in PA.
