It’s really crazy to go in there a full 4 days after a release and have so many to-go options. I’d a smacked the shit out of you if you told me it would be this easy even just a year or so ago. I’m not a lactose boi, so this past release was right up my alley. SD&H was a bonus, too.

So maple bourbon barrel aged. And presumably that says milk sugar (like the reg) on the bottom right. But for some reason it looks like a W. Don’t tell me they nutted in this one too.

I wonder if their BA stouts stand up to age better than their normal stout releases

considering the recent "Straight from the Barrel" still had the 'Drink within 6 months' warning, i'd say no.

Agreed that is a pretty solid indicator. I wasn't aware they had ever done a BA stout before I really only check their releases whenever I'm going to be in town for work.

I'm a bad person for specifics, but theyve done quite a few BA stouts before, maybe 15~? VERY rough estimate.

I feel like a great OK Boomer opportunity was missed with all these people waiting for a cross post from Facebook.

I went to OH for the first time since the Meetup in early September, and I have to say that my break from OH has really made me appreciate that they really are the king of hops in the tri-state area.
