Any estimates how long a half growler of black Tuesday would last? Hasn't been opened, picked up over the weekend and hoping it will last until turkey day.......

I picked up 32oz growler of BT Blueberry Pancake on Sat. Planning to open it at a share on Wed. I rarely go more than a day or two on a growler, but I would expect BT to have a longer than usual lifespan.

I opened up one after having it for almost 2 weeks and it was awesome. Actually still have a little bit left I might finish tonight.

So they actually sold you one. Fuckers.

also, I’ve had crowlers after 2 years that were still good. As long as they seal them on the foam and don’t let them sit a while before they seal em up they should last a long time.

if they haven't fired you as a customer after your constant barrage of overly negative and hateful reviews of their beers, I think I'm OK. At least I post nice things.

    Was it a hoarders growler?

Filled my growler a week and a half ago with that blueberry pancake. Also have had a bunch of pours the last couple weekends, so good. On their website they've had 32 oz growler fill pricing on that and the Spicy Island when it was up.

The banana puddin/nutella can drive ones had a note that said no to go options

And that's why you were able to fill it as opposed to getting a crowler.

I meant to ask you if it was a hoarders growler.

Not sure if you are interested in the society avilability or the growler itself, so I'll answer both.

BT Blueberry Pancake is an RS fill. It looks like they are still pouring it based on the tap list on the web site.

The growler I filled is a 2016 RS Metal Miir 32oz growler. The seal on it is pretty good, but the shape of it makes the first pour a bit awkward.

As ghetto as it is...a large turkey baster works wonders to get that first inch of beer out so you can pour without making a mess.

Side Note: as far as I know, they do not do crowlers of society exclusives

EDIT: Looks like I'm wrong, as I see crowlers on the society exclusive tap list. Not sure why they don't offer crowlers for BT Blueberry Pancake.

The answer I was given once had to do with availability. With crowlers, technically someone could walk in and order 15 of them. But most people don’t have more than a couple growlers.

A well executed cherry stout can be delicious. It is somewhat interested they are using natural vanilla flavoring rather than aging on vanilla beans but given the cost of vanilla it wouldn't surprise me if other breweries start doing the same thing. I just hope the cherry doesn't taste artificial, I've had that issue in the past with other cherry stouts that used real cherries and I can't really explain it.
