Phase Three Brewing (2019)

I think the question above is about packaged. They are going to be at FOBAB, which means they will have something barrel aged to drink there. I'm sure the line Friday won't be long or anything.

 

Just drank my first can of vanilla pressed. No idea how anyone thought maple was in this. It’s all vanilla and coffee. I thought the maple was a lot better but at that point it’s preference, the flavor profile is exactly what they went for

 

QFT. Invisible Wings was my lowest rated Phase Three offering to date, had several. Very one dimensional, I appreciate a good balanced or even bitter beer, but this was bitter with consistent alcohol burn which is rare for me.

On The Vine was very good, can't find anymore at this point but hope they return with this one next year.

Anyone been to LZB over the last few days?

 

New one is very dank. Good beer but doesn’t stand out among the other offerings much. Really would like to see them revive some original beers with their recent improvements...ok I’ll take Brambleberry Chantilly first

 

Brambleberry is solid but I liked the other 2 Chantilly's much more. I get less hoppiness and more vanilla than in the Strawberry release.

 

Nothing next week. Week of 12/2 their collab with Bottle Logic drops, 8% vanilla DIPA hopped with cryo citra, cryo mosaic, and galaxy hops.

 

Had me at vanilla but lost me at dipa...

 

Funny, I feel the exact opposite.

 

When I see vanilla I think stout...

 

When I see vanilla and DIPA, I think milkshake.

brambleberry is bad. these untappd reviews are ridiculous.

 

Meh, I wouldn't call it bad. It's not great by any means but it's not a drain pour. Actually curious how it tastes in a few weeks because it's finishing unusually bitter right now.

Also this is like... their lowest rated beer isn't it? It's the only one I can remember being close to the 3's

 

brambleberry is such an odd good choice for a milkshake.

and the results would appear to validate that thought

 

Tropical District got much better after a few weeks in the fridge. Hoping this one will come together as well.

 

Better choice than dingleberries!

 

This brambleberry shake is not good, can’t see how this gets better with time either.
