Lagunitas 2019 Willettized Coffee Stout

Yeah, so now I need Willettized... but ordering a 4 pack of CBS online, I got a buy one get one because I added an additional 4 pack in store. To my defense, I didn't notice until after leaving since it rang up $150+ beer given the Revolution Deth, Cafe Deth, and multiples of Founders products I bought...

P.S. Cafe Deth is really friggin good. So are the rest.

 

Go for it, you will not regret... It is such a balanced beer man...

 

Yep...I rarely "chase" beers anymore. This was was worth it..just tried my first bottle last night. Lovely

Bought a 4 pack @12.99. Sipping one now. 5*at the money. Lagunitas could charge 2x as much like everyone else and it would be justifiable. Solid A and a 4.5 or even 4.5+ from me overall when comparing to the recent acquires. Coffee forward with a little bitter coffee bite (in a good way) but the barrel shines through and gives good character of oak. Smooth. Really can't believe these are sitting on shelves at $12.99. Sleeper for sure and a steal.

Want to do a blind against Cafe Deth and this year's KBS (which I'm also now acquiring at $12.99 with the rebate).

Very good beer, tastes almost identical to 2017 willetized. 2016 high westified still trumps both of these IMO.

Maybe it’s just my palate but I don’t get the Prairie Bomb love. And I’m not looking at the $10 price tag on a bottle, just straight up.

As luck would have it I stumbled upon this for $12.99 a four pack, grabbed one. Can't wait to try it and I am happy that I will be able to, as I wasn't expecting to with how quickly it's been selling in my area.

Yeah no complaints here considering what I pay for some of the competition/sort of similar beers, especially lately. I want to keep an open mind going in but I do fully expect to love this.

You can't beat Lagunitas' value. I am sipping on some Brown Shugga now and you get a lot for the price.

 

Wow its great every year. This years is exceptional both for the preferred 12oz bottle and value. The rye(whiskey) nicely balanced with spice and oak, then with coffee roasted fresh. One of the better years IMO.

 

Picked up a single today for $4.50. I bet it will be amazing, but not $18/4-pack amazing.

Bend, OR. I don't get it. I don't pretend to know the games that distributors play here, but usually if they are only selling single bottles, it means they got a case and are inflating the price.
