I don't care if it's bottles or cans but I'd like to see them finally bring 4- or 6-packs to market. They are one of the few breweries in the country that still sell single format only.

Was in San Francisco last weekend and was able to try a new to me Russian River beer I haven’t had before - Tempo Change. Its rated an 89 and I think that’s fine. Flavor and feel we’re a bit subtle. Not bad. Glad I tried it, but I wouldn’t spend $8 a bottle if they bottled it. I’m a ticket, so I’m ok with buying single bottles (not bombers), but if 4 pack cans brought down the price, I of course would be into it.

On a side note, it was sad to see pints of Pliny go for $5 at Toronado, then today at Hollingshead’s they were charging $10.50. Pass.

I really hope they do start canning their hoppy stuff. 7-8$ for a pint of Pliny is acceptable if I'm out and about, but I balk at the 7$ tag for the pint+ bottle. Talk to me about 22$ 4 packs

I just saw today that they canned their first Hazy and it will be on sale only at their brewery and pub

Saw the same thing, i'll be over there this weekend so I'll see what it looks like.
I would love to see blind pig in cans. The single bottle price is just brutal

I was in SF this last weekend. Pliny on tap at Toronado was $5! Meanwhile today here in OC, my local place was asking $10.50! I’m done paying that price. Most places don’t even do full pint pours anymore, and still charge around $8 for a baby 11-12 ounce pour.

5 fur Pliny is an amazing deal, especially if it's a pint. More than 8 is just not worth it, the place must be taxing and is probably doing it for every beer.
Id be stoked if pig and Pliny became regular shows for 6 and 7 a pint respectively and 5 and 6 a pint packaged. Pig would be a steady presence in my fridge

there's an airport in Argentina with a code RSA.
RR has a pilsner named STS, after the Santa Rosa airport code.

Gotta say, it was pretty weird seeing cans at Russian River. But I would love them to now put some of the other offerings in cans as well.
I get the pickle they're in (how long do you think it would take for the first "Pliny from a can isn't the same!" post) but it would be sweet to at least see stuff like happy hops, sts, and Velvet glow in multi pack cans. They've clearly got the ability and they've officially diluted their brand in that way already

Mind Circus (Vinnies take on a hazy ipa) is on tap at Bottlecraft Long Beach. If you haven’t had this one yet it’s a good one to seek for a pour or 2. It’s not close to Monks or MT’s take on hazy’s. But it’s very good coming from a world class brewery in Windsor.
