I can appreciate the difficulty of producing twelve different beers, all at once... If one had failed it would have fucked the whole box, so some credit for risk is due there.

I think they must also be looking at the huge markups people have been paying for the vintage ones and decided there is appetite.

I'm absolutely getting one... But I'll have to think about whether I want more (at a lower price point I was planning to get several). Will the BA one next year come in higher than the recent BT box? Cause that feels egregious.

TBH I expected the box to cost more, so it was a pleasant surprise. What I’m REALLY bummed about is that On Tuesdays We Brunch and PB&J Thursday are only available in sets. I’ve been anticipating maxing out on both of those for weeks now, only to feel a bit deflated... Will probably buy one of each set but that’s it.

I will buy any Grand Reserve offered. Nice surprise. Passed on everything else but may come back to the 12 days set...would be fun for a holiday share...

Pie Time set sold out!?! Huh. I guess there was more love for Last Slice then I thought.

Honestly, with PB&J bundled, I'm down to the Xmas box. At $9 a bottle, it's not ridiculously priced. But it is a little high.

Tempted by a third BT box though.

Very happy to see Grand Reserve available. I'm down to my last bottle, shared the other two. Nice to be able to pick up a few more.

i popped for one. Was never able to get Partridge and Three French Hens, so this will bring some closure to that. Even though, you know.

Thinking about splitting one with my wife each night starting the 13th. Would you start with the 12th day or 1st day? Silly question I guess.

Well, if you want to get nitpicky (and what true beer nerd doesn't?), Christmas is actually the "first" day and it extends into January: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_Days_of_Christmas

So I guess you could argue it makes more sense to work backwards if you wanted to end on Christmas? Or if you wanted Partridge on Christmas to celebrate your mini-whale?

You could also do a random order and surprise yourself each night.

So, here's the question. Who's planning on holding on to the Xmas box until 2020 when the BA versions are released and do a little side by side?

I just have to try and figure out the best way to drink all of the OG 750s including variants... still haven't figured out the best method for this one, lol

Bruery stoppers work well, up to 3 days in my experience. The second day tastes better most of the time.

The other question... Will they rebrew Partridge next year and start the cycle over?

Well you have another year until you can drink the BA versions, so that just cut it by half.
