People are just desperate I guess. It’s just ridiculous.

 

I mean if they sell out right away and people are reselling the bottles for 300+ (talking about Forager here), I don't blame the brewery for trying to get a cut of that profit. I'd much rather Forager get that money then some shitlord trying to pay his car note with beer

 

Well if you saw the post of FB today before it was deleted. They tried "serving" the community by providing cases (24) of water for $10. Wait there is more, if you bought a case of their really bad session IPA they would give you a case of water. Price gouging at its finest.

they got so much shit for it they deleted the post.

 

To be a little more fair I saw the post when the case of water was $5 or free with the purchase of a $10 four pack.

 

While most other breweries are filling 5 gallon containers and growlers for free.

 

They changed it to $5 after they got a bunch of shit on the post. It was alwasy buy a case of the beer get a case of water. Never was a 4pk get a case.

there excuse was a simply typing error. Then they said they could not give the water away because it had their logo on it. just a shitty practice when you sell beer for $2 an ounce.

 

gonna feel right at home while visiting the area with this 3 sons bcbs release. 300 btls / 2pp sounds pretty limited - curious what the turnout might look like and how early i should get there. also.. line beer sharing allowed?

Hard to say, there hasn't been a public release at this scale yet. Last time when they opened up sales for Magick Nectar there was only 20-30 people at open and it sold out in like an hour. I've seen people pop bottles there before but not sure if there's a bottle share mentality there.

With Black Friday and people out of town as well as potentially out and about hunting bottles at Wakefield or BCBS release it's hard to say how this one will go...

Anyone been there for a Public bottle release? I see they are doing one for even more lumber jack this Saturday. I hadn’t been to 3 sons yet and thought Saturday might be a good day to make the trip from Tampa and catch a bottle release. What have lines been like and realistically what time do you have to get there to ensure getting bottles. Thank you in advance!!

 

i has a friend that got there around 3 for vanilla big sxxxy and got bottles. Not sure exactly when they sold out

 

Seems all the talk in this thread is about memberships and bottle releases. Is this a Brewery you can go to and get a flight or a couple of pours and hang out? I'll be down there later this month and would like to check it out if so. Thanks in advance.
