For anyone looking around NH, I heard from a rep yesterday that we’re only getting regular and Cafe.

TW Natick has all this plus Wheatwine at $17.99. They also had 4 packs of 2014 I believe listed at $19.99, which seemed low.

Figured I'd post some prices around MA:

Regular BA: As usual Rapid wins at 9.25. 12.99 at Wegmans, Total Wine, and Burlington Wine.
Wheat Wine: 17.99 at Total Wine.
Cafe Olla and Mon Cheri: 25.99 at Total Wine. 22.99 at Burlington Wine, and Wegmans.

This is an absurd price. I'm not in MA, but that might be basically cost, based on what I've seen in a nearby state. Total loss leader I guess (or as close as the ABCC lets you be).

This was true of the Seacoast and some associated areas, but other parts of NH got Mon Cheri and Wheatwine also.

Found regular in a few spots on the Cape (Windmill Liquor in Orleans, Moonshine Liquor in Harwich), but no dice on variants.

Anyone have a leads on variants around the Cape? I’ll be heading to Mashpee later, coming from Eastham.

I got some Friday at Total Wine -
Just a couple regular - I was hoping to get most of that at my usual local places - but none of them have received it yet. They're hoping for this week.
I did grab a wheatwine, but skipped the other two varients. SWMBO wouldn't have been happy at the pricing there.
TW did have a Ommegang Barrel-aged 3 Phil, and a Ommegang Bourbon Barrel Adoration. both of which came home.

Try Cotuit Liquors on 28 at the Mashpee / Cotuit line. THey usually have a good selection of it. Can't talk about the varients though. There's a couple in Hyannis you might try too. Forget the names offhand.

Thoughts on taste? grabbed regular, cafe, and mon cheri. Cracked mon cheri and enjoyed it. Nice hint of cherry, although not worth the price IMO.

Regular was the best I had. It was damn good. Cafe de olla was pretty good too, but 20.99 and it wasn't as good as regular at 11.99, so thats a one and done for me. I did not like Mon Cheri, cherry's are hit or miss for me, I find it can give it a medicinal cough syrup flavor and this was exactly that to my palate.

This was my favorite Regular version, I thought it blew the 2018 away, hands down as I snagged a bunch of those and know the taste well. Limits were 2pp for reg. but im hoping these linger like 2017 and 2018 have done the past few years. I'd pick up a case and it be my go to for my BA stout fix when I want one and don't wanna crack the more limited, expensive rare ones that I tend to save for bottle shares with friends.

FYI, I got mine at The City in Sanford. I happened to be in Sanford Maine at a buddies, as we were going up for the seed release at bissell yesterday. 11.99 for Reg, 20.99 for Mon Cheri, and Cafe de Olla and 14.99 for wheat wine.

There is also a location in Seabrook NH right over the border MA/NH border.

I’m drinking a regular BCBS now and it’s by far and away my favorite since 2015. I get bourbon barrel but it’s far more balanced than previous years. The cocoa, fudge, caramel, and tobacco notes get a chance to show themselves and shine with the bourbon barrel being less dominant.

I find that I prefer BBA beers where the barrel is a little less overwhelming and the 2019 regular BCBS hits that mark for me.

I only bought two bottles this morning (one to drink immediately and one to cellar) and I’m as I’m drinking the first bottle I'm starting to think I need to grab another bottle or two.

After a week of holiday drinking and eating, on a scale of 1-10, how gross would it be if I chose to drink a BCBS after snowblowing this foot-deep bullshit in my driveway? It’s Monday.

fun update: My snowblower shit the bed (it’s been on the verge for a couple years). Then my shovel broke (and our backup is like the size of a sand shovel the kids use to build sandcastles). So after a trip to Walmart, Home Depot, and then CVS for a new shovel, I’m back inside. Tired, cranky, sore, and definitely ready for a 14% stout.
