    A trip to Something for Cookie Monsta! Oreo vanilla milk stout. Tastes like a beer version of cookies and cream. A nothing fancy but tasty gimmick. They do quite a few of them, some good, some so-so. It's their thing and it's close to home.

    may have spoken too soon about Andechs being my favorite Doppelbock, as this really does have an incredibly rich, deep and complex flavor profile of lightly roasted, bready, caramel malt, chocolate, estery spice and herbal hops going on, with the dark fruits and chocolate standing out particularly, lending quite a rich character to this, but also putting it on just a tad too much of the sweet side for my personal taste, although it's really not too bad, with the slightly roasted, bitter notes balancing things out nicely.

    can poured into a snifter

    “ dance floor jam packed : hot as tea kettle”

    Black motor oil liquid, two finger dense brown , creamy foam cap , great 5 minute retention, settles to a solid layer settles to a solid layer, good lacings

    aroma is coffee, chocolate & toffee

    taste is chocolate , caramel, sweet

    fizziness on the sip, full almost syrup mouthfeel, settles quickly, smooth finish

    good beer
