I am pretty sure that TWCP sells all Bourbon County through their Beer Rewards Club so I wouldn't plan on being able to walk into any of their stores and walk out with any.
You should be able to hit grocery stores and get a decent amount I would think.
Wishful thinking, but you might have better luck with B:B:T: (and another release alongside it) becoming more prominent than Bourbon County in the STL area.

Got BBT taken care of already. It is available for so many days on-site I don't think that should be a problem. Bourbon county is what got me into the stout game so really hoping to get to try 1 or 2 variants. I don't think it will be hard at all to track down regular BCBS all over the city. Seems like Gezelig may be the best bet for now, unless I see something different.

I was thinking more of people may skip the BCS search and be more worried about B:B:T: but we shall see! Buy and drink what you enjoy!

If you need a Mon Cheri or Cafe Olla hit me up. I'll be heading to St Louis on Saturday for BBT.

Thanks @Vitacca this is why BA is great. Hopefully I can get a couple variants, but may hit you up if I strike out.

Not in the STL area but 90 mins north in Illinois. We can't sell ours until black friday. Only getting BCBS, no variants.

Any places you know of on the way down from Chicago that get variants?

This doesn't make any sense... BBT is a ticketed release and already sold out. There is no "worry"...

I know quite a few people that missed out on B:B:T to-go that will be attending for on-site bottles of B:B:T, Sunsets, and any other surprises; and have decided to not search for BCS.

I got ya. I'll be sipping coffee outside of Schnucks to get a few and then on to work!

Found the regular BCBS and coffee variant as shelfies at the Schnuck’s in Ladue. Any places still have the other variants?

Hope you passed on that $22.99 coffee variant. Oof. Ladue also had the mess of a Wheatwine available as of yesterday. Likely (hopefully) still there - so much better local stuff to spend hard earned $ on.

Cafe de Olla was my favorite variant. I liked it even more than Reserve Rye. @Lansman everyone has different taste. @KidBeans was posting to find out where he could find more variants around STL. It doesn't seem like he was searching for opinions on taste. And I am curious what a reasonable cost for a beer of this caliber is for you Lansman? I think $22.99 for a variant released once a year and sells out almost instantly all over the country is a fair price.

I was just at Schnucks in Maplewood and only saw regular BCBS. Will post if I find it anywhere.

I waited in line at TWCP on Black Friday and was happy to get some variants. However, Schnucks had way more options and you could walk right in and get almost all variants (except prop, db, and 2-year). I imagine I will be doing this annually and will start at Schnucks from now on and then move on from there.

Curious what 'beer of this caliber' means. This is a mass produced stout that was specifically produced in larger quantities over the other variants to 'reward' stores who ordered way too much ABI product with a 'variant' for their upping orders to increase depletions at distributors YOY.

My main point here is that the rest of the field has caught up. 5 years ago, BCBS was at the top of the mountain. Heck, even maybe so recent as 3 years ago, but times have changed. Smaller, more local, and even national (see: Laguinitas Willettized) brewers are producing similar (and sometimes better) beer for a better value and price point, without all the hype and marketing. Drink what you like, share it with friends, talk about it here, all good- it's your money, speak about it as you will.
