That’s better news as at least there is a Costco where I live but I don’t shop there. But damn they are making it complicated. I don’t think it ever hit Southern California, the “fall” pack. The post says July and it’s late August and none of friends saw it.

in the business -- as I understand it there will be no more seasonal packs, just the sampler vairety packs which there are two a year.

Yes that is what I have come to understand from their rep posting here. That makes me sad, I bought multiples of the hop samplers every time they came out.

In many (all?) states you don't need to be a member to purchase alcoholic beverages or pharmaceuticals at the club stores. If Costco is close to you, give them a call to be sure.

Sierra Nevada BFD packaged in November ‘18 are still in the cold case at a national grocery chain location near me. I can report that it’s gone from “darn tasty” to “just alright.”

Sounds like the age of the Sierra Nevada beers in my area.:grimacing:

    Non-cheers to old beer!

I'd rather have BFD than the Mint Stout I had at the local Old Chicago. Just saying...

It's not a very good beer to begin with. Probably the biggest misstep by SN, next to Otro Vez (Sprite). Give it to your dog in a frisbee

I have to disagree. BFD filled a much needed niche and I will miss it.

Terence, if you can accomplish this I will nominate you for a Nobel prize!

    Cheers!

P.S. Just a heads up: you will need to rent a BIG truck(s) for the Philly 'burbs.

I enjoyed both of those beer and New Amsterdam Lager became my everyday beer for a year or 2. If I remember correctly it did not taste much different than Sam Adams Boston Lager does today.

I thought he was saying that he's going to let Sierra Nevada's Sales Team that he found the one guy who liked BFD

    ***********

Well, there are these facts which might explain that:

So maybe it should be called BFF? Beer for frisbee. Actually probably a pretty good frisbee golf beer.

I was hoping to try this before it was taken off. I hope to try Firestone 805 when I move west. There seems to be more low alc Golden Ales but it still a special role as @Bitterbill said. Thats all Ive been drinking lately partly to lose a few. There pretty available here but thats not saying much as I live in a populated area. Not to mention it could be a lot better considering I added some wheat ales to my selection to broaden my range. 312 and Franziskaner.
