Skip the Line for members with 600+ points (same point threshold as the Straight Jacket release).

Why are you spending points? Don't you want to hit the threshold where you choose next year's DT adjuncts?

The RevRewards Skip the Line doesn't use points. Or I bought even more Straight Jacket than I realized.

From what I was told, the Skip the Line only looks at cumulative points you have earned, so it doesn't matter if you use your points. I was worried about going under the limit, so hadn't been using my points, but last release I was told that it just looks at the points you accrued in total on your account, regardless of point usage/redemption.

I'm no expert on Illinois marijuana legislation or some of the finer points of alcohol regulation, but I'd bet this is more of a marketing thing to celebrate legalization, rather than actually having packaged beer with THC in it.

Yeah. It's pretty obvious Rev isn't doing a THC infused beer. But it's just funny to think about it.

Could be a CBD beer? I believe in Oregon bars can sell “shots” of CBD infused liquid to be added to beers ala a car bomb

    Does it reset every year?

Also I'm sure someone else has done the same thing I did... I got a rewards card early in the year at a release, completely forgot about it, then got another one a few months ago. Possible to merge them if I ask someone at rev?

The Strawberry/Honey Jacket release was to my knowledge the first time they've done it, so no clue on if it will reset / on what basis. If they do I imagine it would have to be on a last 12/whatever month basis as opposed to calendar year since there's a January release.

Would ask them and think they would be able to do it. Can also confirm that points go down when redeemed but the totals are still in the Rev system for these announces. Was down to 34 after making the last cut and was concerned it wouldn't register. Contacted them directly and they said don't worry about the current number.

I totally forgot about the reward program but apparently have 290 points, presumably from last year's releases. Are there actual cards or can they just look you up at the brewpub? I've missed out on a lot of points.

Yes, they can look you up. One of the releases last year was when I think I lot of people signed up for it initially, myself included. It may have been when they first introduced the program even. There were no cards issued at the time. I believe there are cards issued now but a card is not required as they'll just look you up.

To add onto this, I think that if you sign up online, you don't get an actual card. That's what I was told, as I signed up online and didn't get an actual card. I just give them my name or phone number whenever making a purchase.

Rev touched on the Skip the Line and how points will be treated for 2020-2021 releases in the e-mail they just sent.
