Can’t wait. My entire newb crew this year had such an awesome time, everyone wants to come back for their second go around next year. I can see year 2 being even more fun.

No 2020 date announced yet. Last 3 years it had been announced by now.

Rumors spreading that Munster is not approving the event permit this year. Time to spread rumors!!

Last year it was literally announced one day prior to today, on December 5th...

Why are you acting like it should have been announced weeks ago?

 

Curious that they’ve let the DLD website expire.

 

Weren't thy going to build out the entire industrial park into some kind of hobbit world production facility? Did that fall through? If not, anticipated construction would render most of the the previous DLD areas inaccessible for a festival so Munster may be taking their time to review whatever consolation FFF has. Also, perhaps FFF wants to branch out into something less beer centric than DLD now that they have a distillery.

 

Yeah I bet if they are going to skip a year or whatever its so they can build their theme park.

 

Well the prior 2 years it was announced in Oct. Of course prior to that it was never announced until Feb or March...

Nothing I made up, just comments I have seen from more than one person. But I don't know if they have any truth behind them.

Yeah I those plans looked very ambitious and would take quite a while to complete, they haven't done much other than tear down the building just south of them after they acquired that land. People thought maybe last years DLD would be cancelled more moved if construction was underway, but looks like it never really got going.

Although they were working on their second facility & canning line so maybe that was the focus last year.

 

I doubt Munster will not approve those permits. This event makes a huge impact on the local economy. Plus, it’d be a huge tax revenue loss.

 

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Mr. Floyd pass out at Portillo's last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

 

I was assured by Wu-Tang that they would be performing in 2020.

 

I know that girl, she told my former brother in-law's best friend's cousin she heard 2 guys talking on a corner in Denver about some beer festival being cancelled. Crazy how bad it's gotten!

 

You know @kodt, the least you could have done is started the 2020 DLD thread.

 

I didn't want the 2020 thread to start off based on unfounded rumors. Usually our Dark Lord Day threads are based on facts and not baseless speculation.
