    Dark-eyed Junco, aka Northern Junco [The ****n' taxonomists keep changing the name :rolling_eyes::grin:]
    One of the reasons, besides aesthetics [brown is a color too, eh?:wink:], that I don't cut down my (native) ornamental grasses in the fall. They forage for seeds on the ground , mostly.Don't seem to pluck off plants, except for the burning bush (:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:that I inherited).
