Had a Green Flash Double Stout when I got home from work, now I'm just drinking coffee at 12 in the morning because I'm weird and stay up until 4am writing columns and stuff.

I agree, but if you're into removing labels, don't use the microwave trick. Dont ask me how I know...

A black quad sounds excellent! I really dug that Sisyphus you sent by the way. Cracked it last night!

Got two of these from a local friend who had recently taken a trip to OH for thanksgiving. I split one with my girlfriend and quickly decided that 6 oz of this beer wasn't enough, so now I'm drinking the second. Super tasty!

Sweet I'm glad you liked it! If we work out a trade again I'll throw in a bottle of the Real Ale Black Quad.

    Tonight's lineup:
    1. Cigar City Jai Alai IPA
    2. Southern Tier Old Man Winter Ale
    3. Terrapin Oaked Big Hoppy Monster

I must say, I really like Southern tier but I'm not a huge fan of the old man winter ale.

Definitely worth seeking out. It's very tasty, totally crushable. I am already wishing I wasn't out of them!

Haha, I hear ya. An '03 De Cam Oude Lambiek plus copious amounts of barleywines and stouts were my graduation beers. Granted this was after I drove back home and after the BMC/Hard liquor assault that was the dorms/bars on campus.

Congrats man! Its an awesome feeling! Welcome to that real world you've been hearing so much about! :grinning:

I am curious on your thoughts on the '04 though. My favorite beer EVER!

Ok kids, please remember this lesson, hard to light party all night, light to hard puke in the yard!! Started the night off with this bad boy... Black Albert 13% ABV. Solid!!!
it took me a while to decide that I really liked this beer... It might have been the fact that it gave me a nice buzz..
Followed it up with my first Our Special Ale 2012...
This was awesome so I decided to have a 2012 Celebration ale...
Decided to finish the night off with a comparison brew Our Special Ale 2008 VS. 2012.

The 2012 was awesome but the 2008 edged it out!! I hope I can hold on to a 2012 for 4 more years!!

    Listening to some old-school music!!
