As long as people who stand on line show up we won't have a line problem, it's all you in line people muling to parts unknown with crappy pizza who ruin local life.

Another hop sessions in the old taproom (limited space I assume), this one on stouts! Some of you expressed an interest last time but missed out, so I'm posting the link here!

This is true, but its coupled with a BA release now as well, possibly, guess we will see. I just want some of the Citra Mosaic and a bottle of the BA Velvet if I can!
You were at the IPA one last time, was the cost worth it in your opinion. Talking to the GF about doing this Stout one as thats more up her alley but we were trying to see if the cost is worth it. I think its $15 more than the IPA one?

What's the deal with the Snowbirds naming conventions? Why not give different beers different names?

Probably because Snowbirds drives a lot of hype.

Sure but like, (incredibly minor grievance incoming) it's just annoying that they give two different beers the same "Snowbirds 3" name.

Both of this BA are the same as the Snowbirds 3 releases last year, public and VIP (from pastrytown) so it makes perfect sense IMO.

I get the naming convention issue, but for something like this I am fine with it. Obviously it drives hype as well, but they did a stout with JWake called Snowbirds, then they did a follow up of essentially the same beer but with some tweaks and a new version of it. Then did a 3rd rendition with two versions and so on. If you are going to revisit a specific beer brewed with specific people and tweak it slight calling it the next number in line makes enough sense to me

@fdonnelly I was not at the IPA tasting but also mentioned it here! I easily passed on that- I'm in the "OH makes as good or better IPA's than almost everyone else" camp- and am not personally interested in the science of the hops either.

Now for the tastes available, I would go to this stout tasting on Thursday, but alas my company holiday party is that night and I am obliged to get blotto on my employer's dollo.

Haha, yeah my company party is Thur as well, but I am not really wanting to go. Anyone who went to Hop Sessions 1 have any insight for me on the worth of the price of admission?!

Don't think it will sell out, the Pastry Boys lining up for this release don't care about single IPAs that much.

    Multi Chroma

We are bringing together 6 of our favorite hops from this series and mushing it into one beer. We are using our hand selected Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe from Yakima. Our hand selected Motueka and Nelson Sauvin from @freestylehops in NZ and some super dope Galaxy from Australia to make a complex hop driven crushable IPA

    Hmm

I was in until they got to the non-hand selected Galaxy. It may be super dope but if it’s not hand selected, I’m out.

Correct me if I’m wrong but at Prairies BA prices aren’t they the same as Other Half’s?
