yea but, IMO, Prairie’s stouts are lightyears better than OH. I don’t buy them often because the price but I’d rather pay the price for one of their beers over OH’s stouts bc I know what I’m getting from Prairie.

Edit: I also know what I’m getting from OH. Diabetes.

 

Meh Noir sucks, give me most OH BA stuff over that. Agreed on Bourbon Paradise tho.

 

actually I got a few of them at underground coffee in highland last year! That’s probably the best prairie beer I’ve had.

 

Not sure I’d personally call it bad but not in the same league as Bourbon Paradise.

A bit of an exaggeration, but I genuinely didn’t enjoy it. Least good Prairie stout I’ve tried

 

I don’t think that’s that high of a bar to clear, the Banana variant is kinda gross.

 

It wasn't the first time I've been wrong, and it certainly won't be the last.

But to be fair to everyone, a limited release of an annual collab with another outrageously popular brewery from out-of-state in what may be the most coveted style for a crowd like this is probably going to test our best efforts at self-control and summon our worst impulses. I hate to quote myself, or to dip too far into the archives, but the phrase "human frailty" comes to mind.

Still, it'd be some consolation to imagine that all these posts were written with an air of bemused detachment by spandex-shunning humans (barring one notable exception), a proper New York slice to one side, a can of Hop Showers to the other, and a dog-eared copy of Nietzsche in the immediate vicinity. True or false, that'd at least help me to sleep better tonight.

 

It’s always funny to me how OH can be so good at Ipas so consistently for multiple years, but so mediocre (at best) at stouts.

 

Sold out of Citra Daydream cans if anyone cares about that.

 

Pretty underwhelmed by these Snowbirds beers this year. Tried all of them on tap and not mad at opting out of today’s craziness.

Looking forward to trying Drupe and Magnum this weekend.

 

Complete 180 here, but after picking up some TH cans last weekend for the first time in 2 yrs, it got me wondering.. what’s their galaxy beer that would be comparable to space diamonds?
