Single keg though, that one is going to kick in like 10 minutes I'd bet

Smart people would go into the taproom and get their pours before getting in line. Then worry about getting your beers to go.

if your plan is to show up at 4 to get tap pours first, then you won't need to worry about getting beers to go.

I don't think this has been true for any release yet. Pretty sure you could go over to the taproom, get a couple pours, then go get in line, and you'd still get your beer to go.

Is the official word that draft pours can't be brought back to the line? I've never been sure about what is allowed or if it's the same for each release.

I'm not sure if there is an official word on it. I'm wondering if it technically isn't supposed to be allowed but it's just sort of an under the radar thing they don't talk about (similar to actually sharing beers in line).

I think it should be ok but people should have to the use the regular entrance of Kedzie not the door people are lined up at.

I think the only problem with that is then you'd have an open container of alcohol on the sidewalk for a period of time. No way that would fly.

Yeah you're right, it's just a pain when people carrying 4 pours are trying to squeeze around the people lined up.

True. It's a dance for sure. Maybe the middle ground is limit the amount one can have in their hands is 2 pours or something.

Is it really a pain? You just let them by, and that's it....at least that's been my experience. I think it's been a 5 second process when someone comes by with their beers to get through. It's not like it caused me to get my beer later or not be able to get it. And considering the alternative would seem to be not allowing pours in line, it seems worth it.

To me it is a pain, but if the only alternative is not allowing it at all then I don't support that.

Just wanted to reiterate my experience from last release. I added a few points to make it more clear.

At the end of the day, I'm 100% sure the door guy is not supposed to let people out the front door with open containers. They can get in trouble for that. I'd also imagine, if you take them out the back door, they lose the ability to control someone going out the loading dock doors with a 5 ounce plastic cup of Sanctuary #xy. They can probably also get in trouble for that. It may be that it's just not something they want to formally put as policy.
