Carton Brewing (2019)

Had Epitome last night. So fucking good.

 

Oh yeah!

 

It's in my all-time Top 5 favorite beers and the best Black IPA I've ever had. I'm glad it's not year-round; it makes every can special.

 

Unjunct is back! I feel like they didn’t brew it last year, or did u miss it. Such an awesome beer.

 

wonder if still made at two roads, or if brought back in house? (not that it matters - just curious. seems two roads capacity was shifted to stuff sold out of the home market)

 

Good price too - $12/ four pack.

 

Would really like to try Epitome!

Anyone that can grab an extra 4pk. and wants to work out a quick trade please let me know. Easy access to NEBco. and Counterweight.

According to the can in the picture on Instagram it was brewed at Carton.

 

I'm gonna go ahead and agree with you on being in the top. I was looking forward to it this year. It's just, so Unique. I'm gonna buy few extras and leave it in the fridge just to see how well it fares 3+ months down the road.

 

Having my first Unjunct of the year while reading in front of the fire after watching the GD Patriots win the AFC east again. Kane may have mastered the barrel-aged stouts in NJ (not really may, they definitely did), but this beer from Carton is the best regular imperial stout in NJ hands down.

 

I wonder what Irregular Coffee variant will be released on New Year's Day 2020. Last year, or rather as I write this earlier this year, it was the Nitro which was a nice, delicious surprise.

I've been heading down on New Year's day with some friends the past couple of years so at the least I'll be able to grab some of This Town.

 

Seems like no trufpel this year?

 

They had it on tap in the tap room today but no sign of cans.

Squashenator (new to me)

That is amazing. I have a completely different take and did not even like most of those. My top, in order:

1. Boat
2. Unjunct
3. Ipgasm
4. Turn up the Hook
5. Monkey Chased the Weasel

 

Just realized you said "new" I have no idea maybe Balinator and the Apollo Dub goes in there, can't even remember what else was new this year

 

I was just about to reply to your post emphasizing that my list was “new.”

If not, Boat would be on there, as would Epitome.

 

I would add Balinatoreised.
