I mean a lot of people are kind of slow at work so I can see how some would arrive early. But that is sad. This is the one release I'm going to sit out on and just see what I can find in stores. Not worth it to deal with the BS line culture.

 

Does VSOD even hit distro?

 

No. Ryeway will. Neither of the other two.

 

I realize it's unlikely but I think there's a significant enough chance that I'm rolling the dice on swinging by around 9:00pm tonight after getting the kids to bed to grab a 4-pack of Boss Jacket. I can do without VSOD and I'm certain Ryeway will last.

 

Will get there when I get there. Let the lonely guy wait outside.

Apologies, my comment was a bit vague. I was mainly referring to the "alcohol-free" part, and in particular bottle sharing (even though it wasn't mentioned in the post I was replying to). It just seems that most people think a line is an acceptable excuse to bring bottles, which to my knowledge, Rev has never explicitly allowed, but people do it anyway. But, I would prefer it to be one or the other, inside for drafts, outside for to-go. Not have your cake and eat it too.

 

Waiting in line at the grocery store? Sounds like a great opportunity to bottle share!

Based on untappd, clearly the bottle sharing was not discouraged.

 

Had all three at a preview party last night. Didn't write anything down at the time so going straight from memory.
Ryeway was my favorite. It's sweeter than last year which I like, but I don't think at 17 levels.
Boss Jacket was really interesting. Those Boss Hog barrels really shine.
VSOD was real nice as well. Lots of barrel
It's remarkable how the Deep Woods beer gets better every single year.

Seriously? I don't know how/why Rev allows smoking to occur in the line. It's ridiculous imo.

Will be there shortly. Grabbing lunch instead of standing. Made poor judgement and didn't bring a bottle. Shame!
