My favorite so far was DFH 120. It was so much smoother and more flavorful than the fresh one I cracked open. Matter of fact, I wouldn't have started to stock up if I started on the fresh one first. The aged one was a gift. Lucky me.

2003 Ommegang Three Philosophers and 2004 Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock that I had at the end of 2010 were both life changers for me.

We do a lot of Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout and Monster Ale, they're inexpensive, easy to find, and they age very nicely.

Ten Fidy, I like it fresh and I like it aged just as much.

I've been wanting to try Monster, but I skip by it in the stores each time...is it much better aged?

Two of my favorites to age. Priced reasonably enough to buy by the case, and both mature quite nicely.

Big fan of Three Phils here. When aging Three Philosophers, is anyone aware of any difference between 12oz bottles and the larger (750ml?) servings? I have read that certain beers (Chimay for example) age better in the larger bottles.
