    I think we were banned for the same reasons? Something related to the best brewery in NJ - Yale Terrace.

    I forgot the first one TBH. The second one was for comparing BA leadership to a certain national socialist party from Germany that were prominent in the 1930s and 1940s. The term Third Rauch(bier) may have been used. Highly immature/regrettable on my part.

    I went and tried two of the Horus stouts. Both less sweet than an average OH stout of the same ABV. One (hazelnut Harris) I enjoyed. The other (goshawk) I really did not.

    That set of reviews of Horus is perfectly down the middle, as I hoped would be expressed. Doesn't line up with the angry Pacific conversations though. I guess with Horus pricing versus everyone else... Well... it's the same as bourbon, scotch, or even wine. Want to spend $80 (hell $100 plus!), go nuts. It might be somewhat better. 2x better than that $40 bottle? Almost certainly not (if that can even somewhat subjectively be measured). But the review kills my FOMO, and for that reality check I thank you. If you want to see similar angry arguments BTW check any forum discussing brown liquor. The increasing price FOR THE EXACT SAME BOTTLE increased so much that literally every review has the required comment of..."was fine at $____, but now it's (50 percent more). It's totally not worth it!"

    I've long thought beer/wine/whiskey/etc pricing is all log scale (b>1). You can pay more and get a better product (though not always...), but it starts to cost a lit more to be only a little better.

    Yeah I went by at 11am or so, was crossed off then

    grabbed a bottle of ba velvet magnum, didn’t get to try anything at the taproom

    I wasn’t in line this AM, Cam said they had less than a handful of the BA horus. It was gone by the time I got to the register as was florets. Saw someone wheeling out 5-6 cases of bottles as well...
