Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2019

Any BA Ten Fidy still around, preferably the south metro? I picked up a four pack & it didn't survive the weekend & I'm lusting after more. I forget how fine that beer is.

 

I can't remember for sure but I think I saw some at Blue Max on Saturday.

 

Central Ave liquors had plenty this afternoon.

 

Surdyks had Bourbon Paradise on shelf today at 3pm no limits. *8 left after i bought 2.

Ale Jail has all of these as well (regular Abraxas too). The Prairie and DDH King Sue were each 2pp. Not sure about Abraxas and variants.

 

Anymore DDH King Sue sightings?

 

Marshall liquors in St Paul probably had a dozen bottles of DDH Sue in the cooler this afternoon.
Heritage had Prairie Noir, Prairie Vanilla, Prairie Bourbon Paradise, Abraxas. Additionally, had 4 packs of 2012 BCBS for $50.

 

Grabbed 2 bottles at Princeton's. Can't wait to try it.

 

Any DDH KS sightings south of the cities?

 

Did that second drop of Vanilla Black Note ever happen? Still haven't seen it anywhere around Minneapolis.

 

Hyvee in Owatonna had 5 or so bottles when I was there on Friday.

 

I did some looking around last week and never did see any. Think it was just that one drop.

 

Surdyks had some last Wednesday ,it sold out quickly.

 

I don’t go hunting much anymore, but I am 0 for 5 in search of either DDH KS or Bourbon Paradise in SW metro. I would gladly grab some Vanilla Black Note as well, but figured that was a ghost.

I did find FW XXIII at the SLP Lunds&Byerlys. Drinking it now, and it is solid as usual from the series.

 

Which places did you look?

 

TW Bloom, EP Liquors, MGM 101, SLP L&B, TW MTKA.

When I was at TW Bloom, they told me they had DDH KS in store, but couldn’t sell it because they couldn’t enter it in the system.

I didn’t ask at all of them, but some got them in and already sold out.

 

Anyone know of anyplace that still has Spirit Foul left? SW Mpls area preferred. Also, Bourbon Paradise at South Lyndale. $10.99/bottle

 

Not much help here but MGM Mankato still has Spirit Foul. Dated sometime in October. As I’ve never had it I was considering grabbing it but passed. Is that the most recent canning?
