That's relative. I have a boat and a house by the beach, with no debt. I work 20-30 hours a week and my wife gets to be a stay at home mom. You won't read business articles about me, but I'm happy.

Good luck with the cellar it's a fun project!

One of my 2019 goals was to get my cellar down to double digits, but now I can't drink the cellar isn't shrinking, and still more than a hundred bottles.

Very fun finally drinking what your will power allowed to age. I found I didn't remember always how the beer tasted fresh. I found also it was a waste on some beers to have aged them.

I still age beers with coffee in them. Apparently I'm incapable of learning. And BTW, triple digit aged bottles is impressive. I've never made it past ~ 70.

Thanks man. I really don't deserve my life. I'm playing way above my coverage.

If it's working embrace it. Just be wise while doing so.

Stuff that I would love to accomplish:
    • Clear out my cellar to a manageable level
    • Clearly mark/label the beer I receive from my beer friends so I can thank them properly when I drink the beer
    • Convince my wife that shipping beer is free
    • Make people happy when I ship them beer in BIFs, trades, etc.
    • Continue to meet BA friends when I travel

    1. Drink less on weeknights
    2. Spend less on beer/stop buying 4 packs and growlers from local breweries
    3. Drink less craft beer, more macros

    1) attend the weldwerks 2nd location opening
    2) go to Shelton fest next year
    3) Buy less beer (sad one, but necessary)

My goal is to get out of the retail part of the industry by end of Q1 2020. Too much has changed for the worse in the retail aspect.

    Beer goals for 2020:
    • Find a beer group to share with. (Relocated from CA to WA)
    • Explore more breweries outside of my comfort zone.
    • Drink more than I buy. (Not enough room for the cellar)
    • Make the cellar more manageable. (500+ currently)
    • Get more comfortable with reviewing beers. (I feel like a jackass every time I write a review and end up deleting it)

Simple... try barrel aged Abraxas... it’s one of the few beers that has eluded me that I feel I would find pretty epic
