Tree House Brewing Company (2019)

There's enough up-and-coming breweries within an hour or three of TH that they could easily unload hops if they wanted. Hell, see the Idle Hands thread, they'd love to get their hands on some of the galaxy TH has.

I also know Medusa in its early years got some citra from TH. Was either mentioned by the owner on here or on their twitter or something.

 

in other news, any feedback on Very Sappy? Kinda surprised by the lineup this week to be honest. That's really the only beer there right now that has my interest piqued.

I still can't believe they went forward with a name and label for something called Jingle Juice. Like... what the fuck

 

There is a big time spot-market for hops

Plenty of small-medium breweries in the northeast absolutely begging for Galaxy/Nelson/other sexy exotic hops

What’s the deal with this beer name name? It has racial connotations or something? Or is it one of those things I need to just google and be done with it?

Wow, society is getting even more and more triggered. Jingle Juice is a fine beer name and is what I will be referring to beer for the holiday season. It is the holidays- let's all lighten up! What do all feel about Very Sappy?

 

Received a can of the White Chocolate stout. Lactose, coffee and 9.6% should lead to some epic smells emanating from under the comforter

Personally, I feel it is very sappy.

 

There is the possibility that it's completely innocent and the person that named it, and the people that approved it, all were in the holiday spirit and really thought it was cute and didn't put anything perverted or sarcastic into it. Simply combining a Christmasy word in JINGLE with a NEIPA descriptor like JUICE...

I mean I hate defending it and anything Christmasy and cheery, but hey that is a possibility...don't think it's that far fetched.

Apparently, Jingle Juice is a type of holiday punch. I just think it's a dumb name for a beer and it honestly feels poorly thought out. While I'm not going to claim Tree House has great beer names, the names usually seem thought out and purposeful. This name is 1 or 2 z's away from being a Veil beer. It's not triggering. It's just a stupid, amateurish name.
