Aaron killed it, just epic from top to bottom.

Heres a shot of the table, iphone so not so great.

Almost done with it, just need to add a few more labels and then pour epoxy resin to finish off. The same resin used on bar tops, a little more than 1/8" crystal clear and durable.

Easy to make once you have the labels ready, thats the hard part. Just use Elmer's white glue, not wood glue, mixed with a little warm water. Then brush on the table top, in the are you are working on, brush on the back of the label, set label and work out any bubbles, then brush a coat on top of the label once its in place. Keep working like that across the entire surface. Finally, you can use multiple coats of laquer or do the epoxy finish. The epoxy is the way to go IMO, creates a clean and smooth finished look. I use the same epoxy on some of my artwork as a finish. Looks like a piece of glass and makes colors pop.

Looking forward to trying all these beers only one I have had is the guinness, and I figured since your gateway beer was guinness its only the right thing to do was drink that one first as I start in on this amazing box. The gingerbread stout is definitely gonna be my Christmas beer this year. Huge Thanks and looking to trade in the future!!!

    • Alpine - Nelson (huge want)
    • Alaskan - Baltic Porter (Now I can age one!)
    • Bear Republic - Racer X (Huge want, racer 5 is a favorite, looking forward to the double version)
    • Ballast Point - Victory at Sea (perma-want)
    • Firestone Walker - XVI Anniversary Ale (Never had one of their anniversary blends. Can't wait to try)
    • Knee Deep Brewing - Hoptologist ( * )

    • Cismontane - Black's Dawn (*)
    • Figueroa Mountain - Hoppy Poppy IPA (*)

    • Russian River - Pliny the Elder ( perma-want )
    • Alesmith - Old Numbskull ( want )
    • Deschutes - Black Butte XXIV (now I have one to age!)

    • Goose Island - Bourbon County Brand Stout 2012 ( somewhat amusing - I sent some to DC, markasparov sent some to SirWilliam in CA, and Pelican5 [also in CA] sent some to me - some kind of crazy BCBS triangle. )
    • Unita - Dubhe Imperial Black IPA ( * )
    • Tap It - India Pale Ale ( * )
    • Firestone Walker - Wookey Jack ( want )
    • AleSmith - IPA (perma-want, probably my favorite IPA)
    • Midnight Sun - Treat ( should be want )
    • Deschutes - Jubelale ( want )
    • Anderson Valley - Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout ( * gateway beer? )
    • Deschutes - Collage: Conflux series no. 1 ( want )

Russian River Glass - shamefully empty, but not for long.

( * breweries/ beers I've never heard of - which frankly can be the best kind. If there was an practical way to do a "You've never heard of this brewery BIF" I'd be all over that. )

Thanks again for the killer boxes packed full of great brews!

Glad you like it Jeff! You made it easy with a great wants list and the fact we like a lot of the same beer

The FW 16 is drinking great now and would imagine better with some age. Hoppy Poppy and Blacks Dawn are two of my favorite local beers, one from a brewery right here in Santa Barbara, the other in SD. Tap It is from SLO, great local ipa (just won gold at GABF if that means anything  ) I really like it, more of a pacific NW ipa. Treat is the holiday beer, pumpkin and spices could be more prominent IMO but still a great porter regardless. Old Numbskull is epic, Dubhe is my fav black ipa. The "gateway" beer is Barney Flats, I had some others in mind but saw it on your wants so I grabbed it. It was the one that really got me into stouts/porters and still drink from time to time and dig it.

Enjoy and let me know as you drink them. Cheers ~
