    It is illegal but there is some wiggle room. I believe there is a 0.5% standard deviation in either direction for the stated ABV on the package. But 5% or more? That’s most definitely illegal.

    Edit: its a 0.3% SD in ABV for any beer with an ABV of 0.5% or higher.

    speaking of 'hop only', red chroma is a great citra beer. i liked small citra everything, but i might like this small citra otherthing even more. go rochester! #FUMD

    Absolutely - I’m wearing a crown of hops, holding my thumb level to the ground, then turning it downwards. The crowd is cheering.

    And that beer sounds awesome! Of course they do that + HS while I’m down in pastry land. #otherhalfhateslocals

    I dunno what counts as A+, but it's good and smooth! Dunno if you need to load up on it, but you wont regret snagging a few cans.

    My favorite thing about that post though is the (hand selected) in every ipa description. I know breweries love posting this shit, but I'd be (foolishly) more convinced that they're premium hops if they just said some geographic bullshit like Yakima Valley. Yakima!? Hot damn! Nevermind that over 70% of us grown hops come from Yakima! Can't wait!

    Edit: Hops only is super smooth and a little grass and citrus fruit. It's quite subtle and reminds me of some of the beers that have had a very melon forward yeast profile... without that yeast driven melon note.

    It's interesting that the label makes no mention of the hops; they're stamped on the underside of the can. Perhaps this will be a new rotating series of sorts? Nevermind that all we really want (for Christmas) are dual hops...

    Hop Showers and ACE dropping right before Christmas? The last time I saw this much blatant fan service was during all the Avenger movies.

    What's next from these guys? Dare we imagine a new year's resolution to renounce lactose? A handwritten apology for the entire Crunchee series? A quaffable stout?!!

    I'd love for this to be a sign of things to come and beers will just be released as they're canned with some set aside for the line lyfers on Saturday (call it the opposite of the EQ model). But Hop Showers, All Citra, and Hops Only is quite possibly as good as it gets for the anti hypetose crowd.
